Shehriazad Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 Cash and resources seem fair and the low level mods are a great suggestion, however, giving away free slots seems unfair for those of us who have used Platinum for this purpose. Do not get me wrong, I am happy to buy platinum as I want to support the developers and want this game to thrive. Most people who want slots etc to be unlockable by grinding are the players who have no interest in parting with any money, but still expect to have the same experience as someone who has done their bit to keep the game going strong. I believe that people who spend their money should have more to show for it than just 'less grinding'. If that means I can have 8 active warframes whereas you can only have 2... that's fair. That said, I DO NOT WANT OP WEAPONS OR FRAMES. Just my thoughts. Why would that be unfair...if you still get those slots retroactively...there is nothing unfair to be seen xD. That said...I think 1 Warframe slot extra should be something that DE somehow adds as a reward. It seems a little too forced with the slot limits imo. Brontolith Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 I dunno then all those people complaining about founders or people who have event weapons they dont have will just have an even bigger reason to complain when they cant reach the next rank cause they are missing a few thousand mastery points. Mabswer Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) yea.. umm, what about no, why should newer players have any easier time on getting those mods than what we had? i mean most of us.. had to actually grind for those you know. because with those "suggested" rewards you might as well give everyone 100plat on each rank. without the mods, rare mats and atrocious amounts of creds, yea sure why not no need to masquerade it to anything else, this game is all about grind, grinding mats, grinding parts, grinding bp's grinding for the sake of grinding. on a second thought, maybe instead of letting player choose what they want: give them mod packs, those same packs that are on sale with plat -ranks 1-5 Hawk pack -ranks 6-10 Falcon pack -Ranks 11-xx Eagle pack but nothing else. giving free slots and potatoes all freely neely wont sit well with Veteran players nor with De for that matter. D3ST Posted June 9, 2014 Share Posted June 9, 2014 (edited) I like your ideer, but giving serration, hornet strike, etc. etc. at such an early stage, is way too easy imho. now if you got them at rank 6 or 7 maby,.. Overall good ideer, just needs tweaking to balance it out. The current situation, where the most basic mods are so hard to aquire now for new players, is not cool, not cool at all.. Edit* Weapon and frame slots are DE`s main income im pretty sure, so they wont ever give those away for free... SockBadger Posted June 14, 2014 Share Posted June 14, 2014 I think after about mastery rank eight the rewards as mastery currently stand need to be significantly more epic useful things or at least enjoyable aesthetics that cannot be purchased, but only earned through Mastery Rank. Like Perhaps Lvl8 - metalic dyes - various metal effect dyes for customization. Lvl9 - Unique Syndana & Weapon Ornament Things that the majority of players would both covet ownership of and desire to use personally, rather than desiring them merely to trade or getting them just to get something at a later rank.
