G3 Mark Problem & How I Fixed It.

The Rundown-- THE G3---blah blah blah they are a rare spawn.  But I am sorry-- they aren't THAT rare-- and by that I meen- I saw them ONCE attack somebody ELSE because I joined a game about 3 minutes in-- in probably 500 missions.. all against grineer.  When I joined they were already flashing yellow saying warning etc...

 

So I started noticing things weren't right with my accnt as when I would host-- Alad V wouldn't drop neural sensors (15 -18 runs in a row)  while I was hosting.  If I was not hosting... He dropped them almost every time.

 

Also- I couldn't get morphics to drop off of enemies (I'm talking desecrate with overextend and natural talent with 2 Nekros and 2 rhino etc.. in a 30 minute mars survival.  *I did find ONE out of a locker in about 3 of these Mars/Mercury runs* lol.

 

MAIN POINT:  My account was bugged- I submitted a Ticket a while back-- They said I was indeed marked by the G3 even after the above incident.

 

Why I was Bugged:  A while back-- it was either right before or right after Update 12.4.0 me and some clan mates disbanded from our current clan due to some people being innactive and created another clan.  

 

When the innactive from the original clan came back it was a misunderstanding blah blah

 

Long story short- we ALL left the same day and joined the original "Outlaw" clan and rushed our clan keys.

 

I noticed RIGHT away along with several other clan members that even after we rejoined Outlaw "Our current clan"  we were still showing that we had a Clan key blueprint in our foundry even after we had built one and were all succesfully joining the dojo. (one of which has never ever seen the g3 either but has been marked since the day they were available on ps4)  

 

Steps I took to fix it:

1. I un-installed and re downloaded Warframe on my ps4 (including saved data) which is just your options and what is equipped in your gear slots on ps4. This did NOT help whatsoever- with any of the above problems.

 

2.  I promoted some one else to the leader of my clan-- and removed myself from the clan

 

3.  Loaded into the dojo-- came back out-- the key blueprint was still in my foundry even though I had no clan.

 

4. I quit warframe entirely (shut down my ps4) rebooted--THEN--- upon loading warframe - the tutorial for "clans" immediately popped up which I have never ever seen before.  It was basically the new codex clan thing that I guess "new players see" now.

 

5. Checked my Foundry again- no clan key blueprint!!!  Thank god.  -- Got reinvited to the clan then Restarted my PS4 AGAIN-- made and rushed my key.. checked foundry again to make sure I didn't still have that lingering clan key blueprint available in my foundry.  Everything was fine.

 

(I also took the extra measure of running a quick operation mission vs Grineer between each thing I changed on my account clan wise followed by the above mentioned ps4 reboots.)

 

Why I really think this fixed it:

 

- The very first mission I went into after seeing that clan tutorial -  The G3 spawned literally... I meen-- on top of me.. they were in the game before I was "almost" I got Bolted SO BAD lol  I was solo with only melee / Fresh Forma'd Marelok equipped!  Don't judge me!

 

 - Not only that- but I ran threw about 3 of my 5 Stalker marks that I had on me for over a month now in about .. 5 missions.

 

- Today I saw the G3 two more times one of which was on MY mark again- (If you are wondering how to tell if it's your mark or not-- I now know) - Right as the lights flash-- etc.. before Lotus starts coming in throught the "broken up transmission" she says very clearly something along the lines of "Something is wrong- Get out of here!"

 

- I saw them twice WHILE hosting today in 10 operations vs Grineer (supporting Corpus), one of which was my mark- then immediately got remarked 5 missions later.  All is good now.

 

My Theory-  Sometime ago I remember reading patch notes that said something along the lines of "you will not be hunted by the stalker etc.. if you are under mastery rank 2-3?

 

Well I believe that somehow "since I was already in a clan" when the new clan tutorial codex thing was added into the ps4 version, I never saw it therefor it was looking at me "mark wise" as mastery rank 0 even though I am 13.  It also had me stuck in some sort of loop to where I had to leave my clan and get rid of that excess blueprint (probably wasn't the main cause- but led me to what was).

 

I just think my mastery rank was not registering due to not have ever been able to see that tutorial about "clans" pop up since I was already in a clan when it deployed on ps4 "shrug" - so leaving my clan and restarting the game fixed that

 

FYI - I posted this in general feedback instead of Ps4 specific because I know alot of people on both platforms are complaining about the rarity of the g3-- and I really, think that something like this is your issue-- or you are playing with some one that is Hosting and has this issue probably 90% of the time.

 

 

I really do hope that my efforts and frustration helps DE fix this bug- and that all this IS actually the case.  It seems very valid to me and alot of other warframe players I know.

No problem!  I do hope more people read this-- and I am really glad that you did.  Even if just one person benefits from it that is good enough for me! - I will not reply to this post again because I don't want to unnecessarily bump it. I am shocked that only one person besides me/my clan has replied to this or had this problem on PS4/PC!  Oh well!  Good luck Rafa!-- Plz PM me and let me know if it actually did help?

How to fix G3 : Make them the boss of phobos, since both vor and kril are already on planets. Kril now drops miter parts over on ceres.
