I Need Advice Regarding Torid

Don't tell me to sell it. The only weapon I have ever sold is Skana and I am seriously considering building it again.

 

I built Torid about a month ago and it's sitting in my arsenal at rank 3. I would like to hear from those folks who like and use Torid, even if it isn't on a regular basis.

 

What setup do you use?

 

What game modes is it best for?

 

Is it effective in the Void?

 

I am not really a fan of launcher type weapons, but I built it, so I want to rank it up and see what it's really capable of. Thanks in advance.

use it in defenses. lay down poison clouds in enemy path's and watch them suffer with glee.

Considering that it's only effective when the enemies are in the cloud for the whole duration, go with frames with taunts and/or force enemies into one point. Loki's Decoy, Saryn's Molt and Vauban's Vortex all do this. Also, if there's a Nyx on your team, ask her to use Absorb and fire at her so that all of the attacking enemies are damaged (also helps charge up Absorb's damage).

 

EDIT: just realized that these tactics only apply to the Infested. You can use a Loki and disarm them all before using the above strategies.
