How To Cut Enemies In Half

Question

Posted (edited)

Did a lot of test with different weapons and still can't find proper solution to cut enemy in half with 100% succes rate. The picture for me is still looks like chance to cut enemy in half is absolute random, no matter how high is part of slash damange in total damage of weapon, no matter which part of body you hit/shoot, not matter what weapon you use. May be i'm missing something?

But atleas one thing i noted with my tests: i can cut dead body in half with Dragon Nikana(with a low chance) and can't with any other weapon.

EDIT: Current state of tests: Orthos Prime[bleeding Willow] is best weapon to cut enemies on half. If enemy wasn't cuted with killing blow, keep hitting dead body while it falling and even if it already on a floor(but don't waste time on enemies which died with other gore effect).

EDIT 2.0: PROBLEM SOLVED:

1) Pick Bratton Prime(with any mods even multiple elements)

2) Host the game <<<< HERE THE MAIN PROBLEM. When you are not host you have lack of gameplay, it concerns not only this special case(damn DE).

3) Ejnoy 100% meat grinder.

I miss those days in Warframe where a maxed Flux Rifle would gib and slice everything apart 100% of the time.  =(

I mean we used to be able to point it at the chest of an enemy then....  instant meat chunks flying everywhere.

Sadness.  So many newer Tenno will never know of these joys.

Could hold down channeling. That always gives me a guarantee to slice them in half lol.

Not true. And also channeling = disintegrate.

100% slash weapons (Miter) have better chance than ones that don't. Don't use elements either

No true either. Miter have even lower chacne to cut than deread by my tests.

I'm pretty sure some physics are involved with cutting enemies to bits, hence why the Dragon Nikana slices at the waist most of the time (if you're just doing the horizontal slice). I tend to cut arms off or slice an enemy's torso diagonally when using my Dakra Prime because that's just the way it cuts.

Guns are slightly different, mostly due to multi-shot hitting a larger area, but it's still possible to aim at a specific area and blow it apart.

Dread has a good chance of cutting them in half. No thunderbolt of course

This setup have less than 50% chance to cut enemy in half, no matter what part of body to shoot.

Not true. Did a lot of successful cuts by shooting in limbs, as well as no cuts by shooting in stomach.

I have reproduced the cut in half a ton of times with Lato.

After I've killed them I shot one or two times more whle they're still in their death animation.

Don't use elements either

I do have elements on.

Your tests are false, then. There is no way, other than RNG, that could make Dread out-slice Miter.

If 30 not cuted dead mobs in a row killed by mitter is "false" tests, then i don't know what is "true". I beleive that you have poor experience in using mitter, or used it last time before changes with status effects, when even Flux rifle had 100% chance to cut enemies in half.

have... you tried Powers that deal Slash Damage?

Nekros don't have them, so this is not the solution. Even if "slash dash" have 100% chance to cut, this is useless for me. Need solution with weapons.
