# Void Survival Rotations, What Are Those? What Do They Mean?

## Recommended Posts

So I was checking the https://forums.warframe.com/index.php?/topic/172911-prime-gear-drop-locations/'>Prime gear drop locations thread and came across the "Rotations".

In example:

TOWER II SURVIVAL

Rotation A
AKBRONCO PRIME BLUEPRINT
PARIS PRIME LOWER LIMB

Rotation B
LATRON PRIME BARREL
LATRON PRIME STOCK

Rotation C
MAG PRIME HELMET BLUEPRINT
PARIS PRIME BLUEPRINT
MAG PRIME CHASSIS BLUEPRINT
ANKYROS PRIME GAUNTLET
REAPER PRIME BLUEPRINT

Does anybody know what are the meaning of those? Can we get an explanation from DE?

Each time a reward shows up, you get one, going in order.

5Min:Reward From A

10Min:Reward From B

15Min:Reward From C

What I think.

Could they mean:

Rotation A = 5, 20, 35 minutes

Rotation B = 10, 25, 40 minutes

Rotation C = 15, 30, 45 minutes

?

a 5 mins

b 10 mins

c 20 mins

reapeat

a 5 mins

b 10 mins

c 20 mins

C is 15 mins, not 20 (which is A).

The supposition where I put most credit :

Rotation rewards depends of waves

for example :

5 Waves : A

10 Waves : B

15 Waves : C

20 Waves : C

Rotation per waves are a pur supposition to but it seems to be something like that.

EDIT : Too much ninja :D (where on warframe, it's normal!)

then why do i have to go 20 waves to get a prime drop on t1

ugh nvm

this is actually very acurate i got a bo prime ornament at 20 min which is rotation a

Ok, that seems logical, and then I suppose that the keys that are shown as only having rotation A and C (in example T1 Survival) are to give a non-prime reward?

I imagine it's like the normal Survival rotations where at 5 and 10 minutes you can get an Uncommon Core, Rare Core, credits, or one of three special mods. At 15 minutes you get a Void key. At 20 minutes you have a huge list of random stuff you can get and then it repeats after that.

Rotation A is 5 and 10 minutes

Rotation B is 15 minutes

Rotation C is 20 minutes

I'm guessing that they left out all of the credit and cores you can get instead of Prime parts in Rotations A and B and you always get one of the Rotation C items.

My speculation:

A 5 min

B 10 min

?? (possibly resources) 15min

C 20 min

My reasoning:

20 minutes is the guaranteed "good" reward for regular (non-void) survivals. 15 minutes in regular survivals is a guaranteed key, not sure what hte void reward is at 15.

Also, "For Survival, Defense, and Interception missions, staying at least 20 minutes/15 waves/3 Rounds guarantees a Prime Part, Forma, Core Bundle or a Key. Resources and Cores are included in the cycling of mission rewards for some Survival/Defense." Taken from the official void rewards thread

yeah pretty much, t1 is a night mare

Yea, because of the many primes that have to be found in the void, De devised that instead of getting fusion cores, keys and whatnot(those rewards are bullS#&$), they made it the same way it used to be, all prime rewards, and basically, the first rotation has the lowest amount of rewards and appear at 5 min, because of the lowest amount of prime rewards, you get about 25-50% of getting the prime part you need, BUT ONLY ONCE! Then roatation B happens at 10 min mark only, and it has a little bit more prime parts, so the chance of getting a prime part you want is 20-33%, BUT ONLY ONCE! Then rotation C contains the highest amount of prime parts and gives you about 10-15% of getting the prime part you want, this happens infinitely, since it is the last rotation. Apply these rules to defense and interception.

Survival

Rotation A- 5min only! 25-50% chance

Rotation B- 10 min only! 20-33% chance

Rotation C- 15min+ 10-15% chance

Defense

Rotation A- wave 5 only! 25-50% chance

Rotation B- wave 10 only! 20-33% chance

Rotation C- wave 15+ 10-15% chance

Interception

Rotation A- round 1 only! 33% chance

Rotation B- round 2 only! 33% chance

Rotation C- round 3+ 15% chance

thats the rotations and chances of your prime part dropping.

Hmmm... The fact that Rotation A and B have less Prime parts in them makes me think that they are meant to be padded out with non-Prime rewards while Rotation C has both the most Prime parts and the "best" Prime parts (Rhino Chassis, Loki Helm, etc) and according to the non-Tower Rotations would be the 20 minute reward which is the assured Prime part. But if you got a Rotation A item at the 20 minute mark then that gives evidence that it might change every 5 minutes in which case you'd get an assured Rotation A item at 20 minutes, an assured Rotation B item at 40, and an assured Rotation C item at an hour. They could've changed it and made the assured Prime drop every 15 minutes now. Of course they also could've padded out the Rotation C list with extra stuff to make it that much harder to get the Rhino Chassis, Loki Helm, and other nice Rotation C rewards. I think that we either need more info or an official word from someone at DE to sort this out.

I posted this in another topic, but since nobody on this forum uses the search feature I'll add it here as well:

TOWER I SURVIVAL

Rotation C

BO PRIME ORNAMENT

I got mine at 25 minutes, dunno if that means anything
Additionally, one of my pugs got it at 25 and 35 mins.

• 2 weeks later...

I got Latron Prime Blueprint at 30 minutes in a Tower I Survival, while it is stated that I can get it in Rotation A.
