Is It True About The Brakk?

It's not all that great to be honest. Among pistols it's strong, but not the strongest. I prefer Marelok for pure power and decent range.

I prefer Marelok. They do roughly the same damage per shot, but Marelok has better accuracy and no fall off, so I don't have to stand right next to an enemy to deal full damage.

At short range, it does about twice the damage of any other weapon in the game, so yes, it's extremely OP.  If I need a weapon for long range, I use the Marelok, and at medium range, I use the akbolto.

Before I got the Detron and Marelok the Brakk was the only secondary I ever used.

 

Now I mostly use the Marelok because it has no damage fall off and can still perform well at the levels I normally play in.

 

That said, within it's effective range the Brakk will completely rip through anything that the game can throw at you(and that's with just a potato).

Why?

 

 

Damage Falloff Over Range.

 

You know, that thing that makes you get into a slugfest because you decided to use a gun that has a short maximum range?

 

 

 

If I wanted a maximum range I'd use a melee weapon. If I wanted a gun I'd want it to be effective against anything I hit.

 

 

Besides, modded, almost anything can take you 35 minutes in T3 survival.

I prefer Cestras or Gremlins for normal stuff, and the Angstrum for super high wave.

 

Unlike the Brakk, the Angstrum hits everything a mile away for full damage each shot- meaning I don't have to wait for the enemy to be able to shoot at me before I can shoot at it.

I dont use secondaries much really, but when you need to get right in the face of an enemy just to 1-shot it, it completely turns me off. Its not fun trying that on Loki (squishy like jelly) and im not invisible reliant either, so don't come telling me to spam it for that. Just don't.
