SippyCupSamurai Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 The Paris Prime is a wicked weapon. I've been playing warframe for months and it was the first Prime weapon besides the reaper that I hunted for. Do I ever use it? Nope. When holstered, the quiver clips straight into the bow. This isn't a slight clipping, the quiver completely penetrates the middle of the bow and this is the case on nearly every warframe's back. It bothers the S#&$ out of me, I can't be the only one. Anyway, I remember weapon placement was touched on a few updates back and it was met with major disapproval because of the massive scale of all the changes. I think this Paris Prime problem, however, can be remedied without too much backlash by just rotating the quiver to face the other way so that it rests in the empty space of the bow rather than protruding through it. The bow placement can remain unchanged. What do you all think?
Zachles Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 I've had it for a very long while now (six months maybe?) and it is still just rank 16. Anyways! My problem with it, is that the string seems to clip through the chest of every single Warframe. Kind of annoying to look at.
Senketsu_ Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 My problem is, it looks stupid. imo, I think it shouldn't have those two giant ovals on it.
residente Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 We could have got a wicked gold bow and we got this ugly thing. I can't stand the weapon design either.
rapt0rman Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 One man's "stupid" or "ugly" is another man's super awesome wacky shield bow :D I'd be totally okay with fixing the clipping problems though.
taiiat Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 i can't stand the way Paris Prime looks in general. the way it flexes is absurd and it's color groups make it look disgusting. BUT THAT ARROW DOE that's a machining masterpiece right there. but clipping is always something to fix as well.

Well, the Cernos and the Miter.
Marthrym Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Yeah, the clipping made me crazy so I use my Paris Prime extremely rarely.^^'
Quizel Posted June 14, 2014 Posted June 14, 2014 Meh to the clipping :D. Sux but well, yeah.... fix one weapon to work with everything than every other weapon is gonnna be asked for a fix'ing . tbh, I don't think a solution is possible anymore to fix all weapons. One thing or another is going to clip with another thing after fixing 10 other things those things clip with other unforeseen things bla bla bla. If they set stricted placement and size rules for all weapons the issue could be resolved. However, that'd really limit the style of the weapons. As for the overall looks, I like the uniqueness of it and how it bends when you draw the string back.

Novashank Posted June 15, 2014 Posted June 15, 2014 I know what you mean. It took DE forever and a day to finally align the Flux Rifle laser with the barrel instead of below it.
