Frost Prime, In Comparison To Newer Prime Warframes

With the latest addition of Loki Prime, I've noticed that the newer prime Warframes have continuously become more elaborate and distinct in comparison to their non-prime counterparts, with Mag Prime being the first of this series due to her floating shoulder and thigh pieces. However, in comparison to these unique primes, Frost Prime's design is especially lack luster, with its helmet being the only noticeable difference between it and its non-prime in terms of the Warframe's overall shape.

(Also, I acknowledge that Excalibur Prime is in the same boat as Frost Prime for this, however I wish to focus the attention toward a prime still obtainable by all.)

 

My question is this: by any chance, will the older primes ever be remodeled in order to be on par with the design advancements of newer generation of primes?

I'm sorry, I still don't see where only Frost Prime should be eligible for any rework. Excalibur Prime being unavailable anymore is no reason that it shouldn't also be revisited.

from my guess DE is trying to avoid fixing the older primes and re modeling because that would take up their time from making more new content rather than fixing and changing old content,

A resistance to ice for Frost Prime, and fire for Ember Prime would be a reasonable enhancement compared to their non-prime counterpart. As for Mag Prime and Excalibur Prime, perhaps a boosted energy cap would follow suit with Loki Prime, considering the three are primes of the starting Warframes.

Well there is currently no plans to revisit the any of the warframe's models. 

 

I like Frosts and Excalibur's design for there prime versions it very much embodies the concept "less is more".

its really not that noticeable though and is pale in comparison with frost prime and up

For some it is a matter that may not require fixing. Because of the divided opinion, I would only assume that you are correct that there wouldn't be plans at revisiting old designs.
