Question For The Devs.

Which of your staff is madly in love with the game Phantasy Star Online? I would love to know...
This game is so much like it, there has to be one of you who played my favorite game of all time. You managed to mix League of Legends with Phantasy Star Online and @(*()$ win my heart over. I love you DEVS give me your staff member who loved Phantasy Star Online and I will follow you forever!

My main point i think this game is so much alike PSO is because of the sents. In PSO we had Mags. Floating little buddies who did so much S#&$. They also evolved into really Kawaii little dudes. Example of a Mag. (It was a rare one that took ages to get)

I saw how DE_Steve jumped in that devstream when they previewed player lobbies/hubs and someone in chat said it was "Like PhantasyStar". He knows what's up.

 

When I learned how to get on and play PSO2 JP I did, and it was nice, but it didn't take me from Warframe. I came back pretty quick once a few new guns had come out. Even before that I would call my sentinel "my mag" and confuse the heck out of people, haha...

IKR OMG. People always think I'm talking about Mag the Warframe and its really funny. Also I tried it too and it felt like it was trying too hard and took away from the old school PSO. I like Warframe much better than PSO2, but thats also due to the fact that I can actually play with people who know english. I had an english guild but they never wanted to skype or vent so it was boring after awhile.

Back before sentinals were a thing i always thought that the game was heavily inspired by pso, and then when sentinals were shown in one of the livestreams steve pretty much said they would be mags from pso.

 

That is when i knew i would play this game for the rest of its/my life =D.

I think the Devs are in love with anything super powers related. It's not like Phantasy Star online has invented anything at all. Doesn't mean its not good and both games arent related in any way, but it could also be unrelated. People take their inspirations from many sources.

Back in 2013 I was browsing and found out about Mags from PSO. I joined Warframe in April this year and because I forgot about PSO, I thought Warframe was that game due to the sentinels.
