..you do realize that they are already doing this, right?  Eh, reread it, and it wasn't what you meant. xD

They're adding generic warframe abilities that all frames can use.

- clown face, can be used as decoy, and terrify the ennemies

-pendulum: stop the time in an area. Can be used to stop the ennemies, on a teammate who's in bleedout to save him later...

- mind jump: the "essence of your frame go out of your warframe, and can move in the map, and cast powers. But your frame can't defend herself, and you take 200% dmg

-lizard feet: move on the walls, all the walls, and your frame don't run out of speed while you're wall-running

- commander: you gain 20% dmg and armor for each ally who was in the area of effect during the casting

Parrrley from LoL adapted for WF.

#1 skill. Shoot an enemy with something easy to use and hitscan. They take X damage and a crappy DoT which causes power in use. If the X damage (not the DoT) kills them, they roll three times for loot.

 

PIlum

#1 skill. Toss a spear-like thing that behaves like a charged bow shot (don't have to charge it, just acts like the projectile) where it pins enemies, throws bodies, arcs just a little and flies around that speed. If an enemy survives the hit, that enemy is disarmed permanently.

 

Clear The Air

#3 skill. Casts very much like accelerant, but it stops you in mid air for just a second or so if you cast it in air and it will bring you to a dead stop regardless of what you're doing. Sounds out a quick little shock wave that stuns like accelerant does, wipes away all smoke, fire and other hazards, destroys projectiles in the air. Immune to damage and CC during the very short little cast time. No damage and only light CC, but basically all the utility you could ever want in one button that's a bit expensive to spam.

 

Team Free Fire

#4 skill. Whole team (within radius?) has bottomless magazines, no need to reload, no ammo taken, and they get +60% fire rate and +2.0 punch-through. Short duration of maybe 7-10 seconds, but it doesn't start until they fire so they can hold it.

 

Hold The Line

#4 skill. Whole team sees a little ring around their feet that slowly closes in over the course of about 5 sec. When it's done it becomes a large dot and The player gets a HUGE stat buff, HP/Power/Stamina regen, and are restored to full ammo for the duration (nice long duration, maybe a minute or two) but they lose the buff permanently if they move off the spot. The spot is big enough to strafe a little so people can still use cover.

Intended to actually create team work where people cover different areas. I get tired of playing four player 'co-op' where the other three people run around like ADD toddlers on Kool Aide highs trying to solo it with OP gear. I want people to pick positions sometimes and trust eachother.

new Nyx Ability: Mind Jack: Nyx transfers her consciousness to an enemy, take control of it for a short time. Unaware/unalerted enemies react to the controlled subject as a member of their proper faction unless the perform an action out of character for them. (mainly attacking member of their own faction, though releasing a rescue target can count) Can perform stealth attacks with the controlled subject, and (if they have the proper limbs) manipulate objects as normal (like hacking consoles, using life support etc.) This is a maintained power, if the controlled subject dies before the power ends, Nyx takes damage to health equal to the attack that killed it.

Obviously this is based on the Mind Transfer Jutsu used by the Yamanaka clan in Naruto.

Fantasy is good just when harnessed by some rationality.

Adding new skills would be wonderful, but make it smartly, avoid being kiddish. Don't give more destructive skills to Warframes that have them yet.

Example: what the hell means giving Nyx another Mind Control skill?

Give utility skills to compensate with the chosen skill set, give AOE clearer to Supportive Warframes, give Hard CC skills to those Warframes wich lacks them, give skills to support your team, give utility skills to help in Rescue and Stealth Missions.

So everyone can develope more builds for different situations with different Warframes and play mainly with those he/she likes, so not to be forced getting a disliked Warframe to fill a certain role.

So your body gets shot the hell up and you can't move?

Homing projectiles ( gain homing ability for weapons for short periods of time )

Air dash ( gain ability to dash in air for long periods of time by double tapping any direction key )

Magnitize ( allow player to walk/ stand/ run on wall or ceiling. That way there is no up or down and can sneek past enemy )

Reflex strike ( use stamina + energy to slash dash towards an enemy, and if landed critical damage, the skill will repeat it self for free of cost )

Distraction ( throw a random object to distract enemy, enemy will no aggro or be alerted. )

 

 

i think those are pretty balance and not over power skills we could all use.

I have two things to say:

1. Your numbering is off.

2. The permanently lose the HP/Power/Stamina regen and restored ammo till full thing is stupid. What if you activated it but then you move when the effects start?

1. The numbers refer to the power type, like #4= Radial Javelin, #1=Slash Dash.

2. That's the point of the ring effect under their feet. They know it's starting and they have a few seconds to find a good spot. 5sec is a looooong time in a game like this, but presumably it would be affected by duration like anything else. If you stacked power duration to make the effect longer, the delay would also be longer. I see this as a drawback, but other people might see it as useful to give people more time. Yaaay diversity!

I wish DE could implement something similar to Sora's ability in Kingdom Hearts called Strike Raid.

Pretty straight forward.

 

Like what he does with his keyblade, Warframes could have a universal ability where they infuse their own energy into their melee weapon like channeling and using short range telekinesis, throw their melee.

It sounds like its pretty much giving all melee weapons a glaive throw ability, but the energy cost will balance it out.

 

Probably a bad idea with potential balance issues, but interesting :)

Frost's Ice Floor - floor surface 20m radius from Frost is frozen, slowing down enemies, and giving allies a speed buff while within the surface rofl =D

4. Frost could give tiny personal globes to people. Like a shield almost. Frost armor?
