New Idea To Console?

I think it would be a cool idea to integrate split screen play, in an offline mode only so it's not unfair, so that I could play with my friends and it would be easier to reach my mom to play, because I'm a veteran and he is just starting and having some difficulties but doesn't like to play online. Just a thought, would be fun to play like that and have a good time with friends. Wouldn't be possible on pc, sorry pc players that might want that...

It would be possible on PC, you'd just need two controllers, or a mouse and keyboard and a controller (which a lot of people including myself have).

 

It would be a cool idea to do this but how would it work? Would you both use equipment from the same Warframe account or would you log into two accounts separately.. it's a bit problematic when you think about how it would actually be done.

i think that 2 ppl use the same ip will make the matchmaking crash(maybe not i am not sure) or u cant launch the game 2 times(maybe yes but on steam no)

I don't exactly know how it would work, but I was thinking two separate accounts playing on one screen. Maybe even make it an offline only mode so that it doesn't crash everyone's game, and would be able to handle a full squad of 4 playing on one screen.
