BlueWhistler Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 For Defense missions, I suggest you allow players to choose their reward from the reward items accumulated every five waves. For example, the group makes it to wave 20 and opts to extract. Then each player can choose one of the four possible rewards earned during the length of the mission. This would help out players looking for specific items and allow them to continue helping their team mates with the defense mission. Especially for keyed missions.
botbot123321 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 In a t4 def... Ok let's go 5 more waves for that Loki prime systems! *goes 5 more waves" aww it Boltor prime stock. I have the boltor prime already. Well I'll just take that forma I saw ealryier
Kirby47 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 So..... if you go a really long time, ther will be a ton of buttons on screen? Other than that, sounds good.
Ailith Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 (edited) If this gets implemented, which it absolutely should, I have a feeling that it wouldn't happen until "rewards 2.0", as mention by Scott. I've never understood why we only received the reward from the wave that we stopped on, with no other option. Does the Lotus just throw everything else into a Void-certified trash can to be recirculated? Edited June 16, 2014 by Ailith
BlueWhistler Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 So..... if you go a really long time, ther will be a ton of buttons on screen? Other than that, sounds good. That could be an issue, but I am pretty sure the geniuses at DE can figure out a way to list the rewards. Some rewards may be duplicated during a long session and wouldn't have to be listed more than once.
Shotinthedark79 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 I would say to choose the reward after the extraction is chosen. so basically 1) reward option or fight on 2) After leaving, screen of rewards to choose from (latest reward set as default is one not chosen in time) Please: Don't add more crap to clutter the rewards more, just keep duplicates and maybe say if you go for a certain amount of waves you get to choose an additional reward
Eudamon Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 How about a tiered system? Waves 1-15: You get to pick one reward from Level one reward box Waves 20-30: You get to pick two rewards from level one reward box or one reward from the level 2 box Waves 30-45: 3 Level 1 rewards OR 1 Level one and one level 2 reward OR 1 level 3 reward.
