I think we can all agree(as long as you aren't a Ash user) that Ash is definitely not late game, master race, or god tier.

 

Definitely the most badass frame in the game with his ult. But still not late game.

yes, he's viable. Build him for max duration radial blind and max redirection and max vitality. Also marathon and quick rest.

He's very, very viable with radial blind spam, but he's also very, very boring after two missions of that. Long animation, no reason to use it strategically since it goes through walls and terrain and enemies. Just hit it every time you hear something fire a shot that isn't you and watch your power.

 

I'd rather use Narrow Minded mini globe Frost Prime in most circumstances. Timing and positioning the globe doesn't sound like much, but it's just enough basic decision making and timing that my brain stays awake and I can play him for a long session without feeling like I need variety, if he's good for what I'm doing.

But that's more about not getting shot.

 

Rhino can tank it as well as other frames, some frames can be better used for utility, and others for speed.

There's an Ash playstyle that works very, very well late game where you TP and execute to initiate then Smokescreen to stun and get the melee damage bonus right there in the middle of the enemies.

 

The only thing holding Ash back is the fact that the stun on Smokescreen is 'fake'. It doesn't stop any abilities like the heavy Grineer radial slams or shield lancers or ancient $#*(@ slap attacks. If they ever fix that, Life Strike tanky Ash will definitely be a viable end game frame, albeit with a high skill cap.

 

Until then Excal is better, and Excal will probably always be considered better unless they nerf Radial Blind since he's so easy to play.

Excal (Prime, don't hate if you don't have him) is my main. Radial Blind is a life saver. And Radial Blind + Loki's Radial Disarm is a great combo.

 

And they shouldn't ever nerf radial blind. Excal's other abilities are useless. He has one useful ability for endgame, and that's radial blind. Other frames have more than one useful ability. Ability-wise, Excal is fine as is.

So here we have a corrupted build for high level gameplay, where your Slash Dash is going to be doing stupid amounts of damage, and your ulti will be shooting out something around 25 Javelins all doing insane amounts of damage on their own. Ontop of that, your Blind is an amazing crowd control tool that’s going to blind enemies for around 15-16 seconds!

 

Corrupted mods and his amazing kit are what allow Excalibur to thrive in endgame content. If you want to change the aura polarity, feel free! I however am very happy with Rifle Amp and find it to be one of the best Auras in the game, as a team-wide buff to primaries is always welcome.

Ash gets double damage on melee attacks (invisibility) and can easily keep up his combo counter (more melee multiplier) with his ultimate, with relative safety. This, combined with a good melee weapon, can do incredible amounts of damage even in hard late game situations.

XD Guns are less valuable than MELEE! They are nice but I could run stictly Ash with Kunai and the Lecta and wreck in T2 easy... and I regret selling my Kunai now because Dex Furis nothing nothing on the armor ignore on the Kunai. plus Dex Furis BURNS through ammo.

You keep striking all marked targets until they are dead.

Therefore Ash virtually does infinite damage.
