PluralityLethality Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 (edited) Hm... ...I'm not entirely sure how to start this off. Maybe I should throw down a little foreword? Leisurely is going to be a very...strange take on Warframe. Rather than focus on the Grineer / Corpus war and the Tenno's inane attempts to maintain balance in the solar system, I figured I'd just place the spotlight on the small pauses between conflicts. There isn't really much, if any, canonical sequence happening here, and the problems that the characters will be facing aren't going to be the most exciting. Nevertheless, I'll try to deliver what I have churning in my scrambled brain. ^And that's the gist of it. Without further ado, I'll get going. Edit #1 : Feel free to drop down an idea for me to work on. I won't guarantee its quality, but I'll try half my best to do a service for your plots. Btw, can somebody tell me what the heck is pl0x? PluralityLethality Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 Reserved for I. Carry on. Preview : "The man inside Excalibur was sorely disappointed. There lay in front of him a very dead Kubrow, and as with all dead Kubrows, this one had its tongue lazily slobbering the already-moist loam with saliva..."
PluralityLethality Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 Reserved for II. Carry on. Preview : "Vauban, today, was incredibly bored. After hours of 'meditating', as his cohorts had called it, his cramps were back again with a viscous ferocity. Well, maybe that was just Saryn incessantly poking him with her Dual Ichor, but at this point, who knows? And really, who cares?"
PluralityLethality Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 Reserved for III. Carry on. Preview : " 'S#&$.' That was the last word the Corpus Engineer sputtered as the seemingly dead Tenno sprung back to life in the queerest way possible : standing with its loins girt and stretched to the sides, and with both wrists crossed over one another, it awaited further stimuli for the revival of an ancient Tenno trend. Whatever the crewman thought about Tenno's values was going to be eradicated forever, as the Tenno began to rhythmically gallop in place..."
PluralityLethality Posted June 16, 2014 Author Posted June 16, 2014 Reserved for IV. Carry on. Preview : "Banshee wasn't like most of her friends. While the awful groans of dying Grineer and Corpus were the orchestra to her comrades' ears, she disregarded the symphony of swan-like cries as nothing but 'trash'. Nay, what she had in mind was something that relayed back to her brain from the Orokin Era, or perhaps predating even that. A low, pulsating hum was all she had to start with, but it was more than enough to re-introduce the deafening roars of an ancient cry... ...the ancient cries of machines, that is."
FiveHours Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Good job with reserving g the chapters, I made the fatal mistake of not doing so. Anyway, the fiction looks to be interesting, I'll have my eye on this. When will you be releasing?

It isn't something I'll be dedicating an incredible amount of time on, but you'll see it pop up every few weeks. Yes, I said every few weeks. (Your diction, I'll admit, is A-MAZING in comparison to the crap I had to deal with from Spiral Knights. Props to you, Tenno, for spindling out such a nice story.)
