I've had a few ideas over the last couple weeks that I've tinkered around with in my head and wondered how something like it could be implimented. It would add more variety and skill to the game(not that this game requires much skill) and create some interesting changes. Possibly giving new life to some Warframes and less to others.

So... what if someone playing Ember cast Fire Blast and a Zephyr player used Tornado... what if it had a chance to form into a literal Firestorm?(not the mod) What if Volt cast Shock into Tornado and it become an Electrical Storm? Maybe a Radial Javelin cast inside of a Fire Blast lit them on fire and proc'd for fire damage. How about a Saryn casting Contagion on an Ash player who then used Blade Storm. Avalanche cast inside of Accelerant causing Blast damage?

What if more than one Vauban casting Vortex created a very small chance for them to merge into say, a black hole that could teleport you into a Void mission? Maybe power strength mods, level of the mod and Warframe went into consideration for determining the chance of a higher level Void mission emerging from it? ( I realize the OP nature of this one, but hey, it's a thought)

Now obviously there are some frames that could take advantage of this much more than others, which is the biggest problem. But there are a lot of creative minds out there to help fix that. :)

"How will the game know to take more energy for merged abilities?" - Haven't really thought of it much. I was thinking maybe an Ember casting Fire Blast saw no increase in energy usage, but a Zephyr casting Tornado into it could since technically she is causing the reaction. Then vis versa. Basically whoever casts last. How much exra energy would be fair? 1.5x? 2x? Maybe on top of that the ability(s) used could incur a cool down penalty for merging?

I haven't put much thought into it beyond my initial proposal, so I expect all sorts of feedback.
