Forma As A T4 Defense Reward At 20 And 25 Waves.

On a frickin t4 defense, forma shouldn't be an option as a drop. It especially shouldn't be an option after 5 waves. It most definitely shouldn't pop up back to back at 20 and 25 minutes. I really don't mind grinding, and don't expect to get a loki systems immediately, but a frickin forma shouldn't be a reward for t4 defense. There are so many other useful, and rare or rare ish parts that could go there instead, and I'd be totally ok with them, because it's not something I'd have 15 of already. I guess I should be happy it wasn't a t1 key, because that's what I'm used to after getting 90 percent keys on t1 survival, but seriously, when you put out t4, put things that aren't a complete let down in as rewards.

So.. exactly when is a Forma less useful than an Ankyros Prime gauntlet? Never.

 

EDIT: Really, Formae are universally useful and actually somewhat required for various things. I honestly appreciate anything forma related I can acquire. Building clan dojos, building clan tech weapons, polarizing weapons and warframes, you get the deal. Since Formae are a hell of a lot more commonly spent than a weapon part you will need ONCE, it makes sense for it to be available.

And that is why , Defense rewards should be stacked. 5 waves can easily be as easy/hard as one exterminate, capture, mobile defense or 5 minutes of survival mission, so why shouldn't we get stacking rewards on Defense missions (while we get stacking rewards on survival)? I think if there is a stacking reward on defense, people would just consider Forma as an added bonus and wouldn't feel that their Defense run is rather useless.

No forma isn't useless but it's not exactly a big prize either. At t4 it shouldn't be a common drop, and it shouldn't drop past the first or 10 waves. You should put something you can't get elsewhere on t4s, otherwise why put them in. And your last comment lol, it's as bad the "if you don't like America then get out" argument. Suggesting change isn't a bad thing, and shouldn't be viewed as such.

I've used plenty of formas and know they are useful, however my issue is with them dropping at the highest level defense, on the highest drop list (wave 15+). If they were hard to obtain themselves it'd be different, but they're really not. Edited June 17, 2014 by deth_monkey69

They are definitely a useful, if not essential resource.  However, they are abundant in other Void missions and only serve to dilute the drop tables of the missions with rarer and more sought-after rewards.
