We have A, B and C rotation, right? The logical move would be
A at 5, 20, 35, 50 etc
B at 10, 25, 40, 55 etc
C at 15, 30, 45, 60 etc

Now what we have is either AABC, or ABBC, which doesnt make ANY sense whatsoever. Grinding survival is annoying enough as it relies on RNG if you get a good room where the spawn is decent(which is almost never the case, atleast for me) AND those enemies have to drop lifesupport, which is also RNG. But then you have to make it to 40 so the key is worth it, but spending 40 min for 2 chances to get what you want? I suggest changing the rotation to what i wrote before, so we have 3 chances at 45 min mark and 4 at 60 min mark. (which is still ridiculous, concerning that you can run a capture key in under 3 minutes). Yes, i know that capture gives only one reward, but its still quicker to do.

It's AABC, i would guess, if it's like normal survivals

As are the more common things

Bs are keys

Cs are the things like ammo muts.

I can understand it in normal survivals, and it makes sense there, but not voids.

there should just be less stupid rewards... i mean 5fusion cores on a T4 KEY? come on,,, and not only on survival and defense, i got some even on t4 capture... which once again only has 1 reward, and also chance for forma should be reduced, i understand some people need it but you can get like 6 formas in 40 min survival and thats just too damn high

Oh man I love the 5 Rare 5 FC's...first experience we had was 6 5 FC drops, a mag helm, a frost helm, and rhino chassis. 30 rare 5's? I'll take that.

ABC is much better because then at least we would have even chances for each section in an hour. As it stands trying to get something from rotation C is a 3/21 chance in an hour, average players only reach 30-40min (average time without a selected group such as clan members or friends).

De has considered it before but they are trying to SAVE RNG (it's like watching someone try to patch a sinking ship thats already under water) and get around using a token system.

 

My idea: They don't have to stop using RNG just find a way to spread out the content, like putting multiple orokin ships around planets instead of this tier missons. Each planet would have a separate set of prime pieces, there are enough planets to fit all the content up to update 9 and have the pieces well spread out to reduce a large amount of grind time.

@Smokin Devil - No. You are actually still working/grinding for it but know when you can obtain something.  Wouldn't you rather know how much longer until you can obtain Loki Prime instead of perhaps grinding for six months (<<<how long it took me to finally get all pieces for the original Loki, if not longer).

 

 

So it can still has some RNG in it.

 

Tier 1: 1-3  (Survival and Defense have a chance to drop more tokens at the end of reach round)

Tier 2: 3-5

Tier 3: 5-8

Tier 4: 8-10

 

(Tier = Tower)

 

And then DE can balance the cost of Prime parts accordingly.  10 Tokens for perhaps a Bo Prime Ornament, 50 for a Loki Prime Chassis, 100 for the BP.

 

EDIT:  Perhaps maybe the costs could be a bit more so the beloved Prime Access isn't irrelevant...

 

...anyway, I derailed the topic.

 

You get the gist.

 

It is fair and less aggravating.

Why is it like that? The best part is that almost all loot in voids are in the C rotation, are they trying to make us NOT enjoy the play? Knowing this now makes me not want to even play void survival anymore, 2 chances in 40-min run out of the largest pool? noty.

The whole point, once again, is to encourage purchases. If it takes only a couple days to get something nobody is going to spend real money on it. It's that simple. Even if a token system was implemented you would still have to have token costs require players to take a relatively long period of time to get. If I faced this kind of grind wall in a game I paid for I would be all kinds of mad. The fact that you can get everything but cosmetics for 0$ makes your argument that you can't get free stuff now kinda pointless. You can get all the things for 0$, if you want it now you get to pay for it.

The scary thing is, all of these fusion cords will probably reduce purchases of other items.  I mean heck, if I had all these fusion cores that I was getting from survivals months ago, I would have maxed out all my rank 10 mods in a month or two.

 

I appreciate DE removing the grind in some way, but they're also removing any future grind they would plan to put in.

 

As for the survival rotation time, I would thing a AABC ABC ABC or AABC ABBC ABC ABC might be nicer, but again, F2P, it is the nature of the beast.  How many times do people play a dungeon in Diablo or WoW or GW2 or any other number of games to get what they want?

 

And look at it this way, would you rather pay for booster packs, like some other games and just hope you get it randomly for paying money?

The worst part is 2 parts are in rotation A, 3 parts are in rotation B and 6 parts are in rotation C, because apparently you shouldn't be allowed to get anything decent ever
