Captwinchester Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 We know based on lore they are the originals of our mass produced generic frames. But are these frames the same ones used to Betray the Orokin?

Joyfulmama Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Surely they are. The Tenno's only weapons in the Orokin era were gun, blade, and the frames built around them. What else could they have used?
Shinobi-kun Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Back then, we had the Tenno-today models and Primed models. Tenno-today models betrayed the Primed, and as to how we get our Prime-today models? Nekros desecrated them.
Adrakal Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 unlikely but you never know, what we pull from the void is more or less data slates containing the precise construction protocol needed to make them. but if we ever find a live and functioning prime frame in there.. its a safe bet it would have been involved
Nihillian Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) Back then, we had the Tenno-today models and Primed models. Tenno-today models betrayed the Primed, and as to how we get our Prime-today models? Nekros desecrated them. No, the oldest tenno, basicly the first, were the ones with the prime warframes. The ones that were currently used are copies, or mass productions of the frame to support each individuals power (a frame constructed to enhance/stabilize/etc) Prime warframes are just warframes with Orokin tech. The first designs of the warframes Anyway, the Tenno (all of them) betrayed the Orokin's for the sake of balance. (as the orokin were the only ones left, having tipped the balance in their favor, or something like that) Edited June 17, 2014 by DLGrave
LunchBoxKilla Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) Source http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Prime The term Prime refers to any weapon or warframe, or sentinel made with Orokin technology. The weapons and warframes the Tenno use are based on the Orokin's designs; but are not actually Orokin tech. The Prime versions of items are actual pieces of Orokin technology[1], and frequently sport improved damage, more Polarity slots, or other stat changes that grant them an advantage over their non-Prime derivatives. Current Tenno technology is derived from the Primes and other Orokin technology, as the Tenno have tried to imitate the success of the Orokin in the form of the non-Prime items. With the discovery of the Voids, many Prime items are being reclaimed by the Tenno and reverse-engineered by Corpus and Grineer, their power being realized once more. Flamingauss Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Prime=1, they were the first. Idk why they went with shoddy designs, prolly cheap &#! peeps.

Otherwise le Stalker would be hunting Primes and not copied models.
Cybernetix Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 I'd guess that it works a little something like this from a lore perspective: 1. Cryopod is found in the void containing a 100% genuine prime frame, still splattered with Orokin blood. 2. Shiny new prime is analysed by Lotus. 3. Tenno are then able to jump through plotholes to find previously undiscovered Orokin data that allows exact replicas of the old Orokin primes to be built. The primes we as players use aren't the exact frames that we find alive in the void, instead they're exact copies built to the Orokin design. I'm assuming this because Valkyr is a one-off that we were able to replicate using tenno space magic so the same probably applies for the primes.
