Nikana Or Dakra Prime?

So i've just reached mastery rank 6, and i have everything needed for making a dakra prime. So i was wondering whether it would be worth it to build a dakra prime to replace my nikana. Also, would the flux rifle and synapse be worth building over a soma? Please help me out on this one guys.

I certainly favour the Dakra Prime over even the Dragon Nikana.

Nikana , because you max it and then get dragon Nikana.

 

It's more powerful that dakra imo (with decisve jugement stance)

Take the Dakra Prime until MR 8 and then build the Dragon Nikana. Then choose which one you like more.

IF you have Crimson Dervish, Dakra Prime beats out Dragon Nikana, and beats most melee weapons by miles damage wise. (I oneshot things longer with the Dakra in my experience, and you can't say no to 300% damage.) It's probably better than the default Nikana either way. Flux rifle is, apparently, bad now, and Synapse is just barely worse than the soma in dps. Not sure on status chance or anything. (Or red crits' effect on the comparison.) Don't sell the Nikana, as getting the mastery and Dragon Nikana are very worthwhile.

srs tho, people buy rare 5 cores for 2-4p each last i checked, sell them and other surplus rare mods for plat with which to buy weapon/frame slots :D THEN BUILD EVERYTHINNNNNG

Would you be selling that nikana?

I really love the Dakra Prime but the Dragon Nikana hits harder and you should at least try that one, so if you're willing to sell it, keep it and reach MR8 first so you can creat the Dragon variant.

 

On the primaries, the flux rifle is not longer that great but you could use it as mastery fodder. Synapse (six formas) outdps the Soma (4 formas, 6 polarities) but has the limited range drawback.

Upgrade the Nikana to a Dragon Nikana (so keep it).

 

And try to sell some stuff (extra Prime parts or Mods), so you can purchase Slots and get the Dakra Prime.

 

Short story, try to keep both! They're both awesome!

Flux rifle is a reskin of Braton. It won't even deal 10k DPS so it is pretty much useless in high-level missions.

I have Crimson Dervish, and I just really really like the style.

 

Also I coloured mine red and it's just like the scissor blade from Kill la Kill.

Dakra Prime with Crimson Dervish is more powerful and hits harder than Dragon Nikana with either stance mod. 300% dmg increase VS 200% from Nikana stance mods

 

Crimson Dervish perks and adversity

• The first three combos deal 300% bonus damage on the three initial attacks.
• Equipping this Stance increases your weapon's Stamina cost per swing by 15%.

 

But Nikana stance mods give additional boons.

 

• The final slash of Beyond Reproach has a 100% chance of inflicting  Slash proc.
• Equipping this Stance decreases the weapon's Stamina cost per swing by 5%.

Hang onto your Nikana for the Dragon Nikana later. There's no harm in switching to Dakra Prime if you've already maxed your Nikana! Just make sure not to sell/dispose of it until you reach MR8 and fuse it into a Dragon Nikana!

What's better for conclave?

I've tried both, and I find Dakra Prime to best fit my style. The dmg per strike is better than Dragon Nikana when you have Crimson Dervish on it. It's useful for Life Strike, since you'll be able to drain more hp without using up too much energy. It's just preference though. I just like weapons that are stronger on paper. Did you know, Manticore + Cleaving Whirlind can be stonger than Dakra Prime + Crimson Dervish during the spin? It's just so slow that it's just horrible to use.

 

@Kbogz21 I find that fast-hitting weapons are usually good for pvp, since you wanna land those hits faster than the bullets that they shoot. I would use Dual Ichor for conclave rather than the other two.
