Unable To Change Pause Button

I have some sort of problem with my keyboard that would randomly toggle the Esc key and by remapping the Pause button in games that have the ability to, the pause menu wouldn't show up every 5 seconds while in game.

 

Whenever I go solo or do an online mission, the pause menu keeps randomly popping up and gets me killed every time on the easiest of levels, and I would like to have the option to remap the pause key (esc) to any button we can see fit for it :) Thank you.
