Freeze When Trying To Fusion An Equipped Mod

So here's the situation:

8/10 serration is equipped on Amprex.

When trying to fusion that serration with fusion cores a text pops up giving me the choice to unequip it. After clicking on the Unequip from Amprex button, the fusion screen freezes. I can still use the chat and open up other tabs on the background. That fusion window will remain in the foreground even after logging out. No X on top right corner on login screen.

 

Reinstall of the game made no difference.
