DeadlySurgeon Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Due to the failure to obtain my desired drop in my numerous T4 Survival runs, I decided to create a measure to properly express my lack of results. Now, any proper Survival run will last 40 to 60 minutes, in order to get the most out of a key, and because Eximus enemies become quite ubiquitous at that point (due to their spawn rate becoming 20% past 20 minutes), it seemed only right to utilize "Total Oberons obtained" or "TOO" as the aforementioned measure. Knowing that, and based on my clanmates' (and of course my own) experiences, I've estimated that 1 complete Oberon is usually obtained every two 40-to-60 minute Survival runs. Anything below 1 TOO indicates a rather expedient and satisfactory farming session. Anything above 3 becomes less-than-enjoyable, and anything over 5 TOO is quite likely to induce ragequits and aggravated rambling against DE. My current TOO is 15, so far. Post yours, if you feel like sharing. (This should not be taken seriously. I'm not ragging on the droptables or the RNG, I'm just venting and cursing my luck.)
-CM-Tiffany Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 I'd have about 21 Broberons if I had another 1 systems and 4 helmets.
Thanatoasty Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 This needs to be a standard of measurement for the tenno..... As a guideline, no one is allowed to complain about drop rates unless they have 5+ in the TOO rating in one given run!
Husbandry Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) I sell every Oberon parts after I finished mission... edit: I got like half a million selling all of them at once. This was before the habit of selling them after every mission. Edited June 19, 2014 by Husbandry
Burq Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 This is both really clever and extremely saddening after thinking about it a bit.
xethier Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 A Survival Leader scaling system has been introduced. This system will start with Leaders initially spawning in after the 5 minute mark. After this point there will be an increasing chance for each enemy that spawns in to be a Leader type. This percent will start at 0% and will grow to a maximum 20% chance from the 5-60 minute mark. Additional Survival tiles and enemy types have been included in Survival missions to support this feature. starts at 5 minutes and caps at 20% @ 60 minutes. you'll need to adjust your math a bit. also, this actually makes it even more depressing.
Renegade343 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 On the bright side though, at least Oberon Warframes can be truly mass-produced.

Really? Wiki said 20% at 20 minutes. I'll go over the math later.

rangeless Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 (edited) The Sentients have predicted that as the RNG overlords have climaxed in power. a relentless group of untamed Oberon Warframes will exact their revenge on their creator, the RNG! The Oberons' main goal is to free the Loki Prime and to cure all Tenno from grind burnout. Edited June 19, 2014 by rangeless
yuio678 Posted June 19, 2014 Posted June 19, 2014 Even though my Loki will always be my main and favorite Warframe, I really enjoyed leveling that lovable Broberon when I first got him from old Vay Hek :3 So everytime I collect TOOs myself, I feel that many players should give Oberon a go. Sure he may be a bit too middle-ground for others, but I like his concept and abilities. Scott has confirmed Broberon is getting a future buff so looking forward to it :D
