A Blocking Centric Mod.

potential names: Defender, Fencer, Practitioner (idk just naming things that are mostly melee oriented)

(blocking as in deflecting the bullets and projectiles; not certain what the exact name would be for the action)

rank 0 affect: 10% less stamina consumed when blocking

rank 1 affect: 20% less stamina consumed when blocking

rank 2 affect: 30% less stamina consumed when blocking

rank 3 affect: 40% less stamina consumed when blocking

the idea hit me after i tested out Reflection+Parry, if i had Reflex Guard it would've been a funner experience.

just throwing it out there because it would be neat, especially for people who use their melees as a damage mitigation tool.

I like it, I'd probably use it, and it would definitely help make blocking a more viable skill. Plus it may even synergize with other blocking/stamina mods well enough to make people use them, and I'm all for build diversity!

Related question, is it intentional that stamina recovers much more slowly while blocking (when not deflecting any projectiles), than it does when standing idley?

I mean it makes sense that it would do that, I suppose, but I was never sure if it was intentional or just a bug. (Asked in PS4 forums, but no one reads those, and I cant report PC bugs, for obvious reasons)

Check out Warrior's Grip. Converts damage from parrying to stamina. May fit your niche a bit.

As for this, it is intentional. Also, stamina recovers even more slowly while blocking and moving simultaneously.
