Innocent_Flower
four things: 1. I'd like to buy scanners automaticaly. Trufully scanners should obviously be given to the player for free since buying 25 for 500 credits is just a pain in the arse no matter how you look at it. Point of this point; Players should be able to set stuff up so that whenever they run out, more is bought/built. 2: I'd like all the gear I have, except for dragon keys, to be put in a gear slot on acquiring them. I've never used more than four slots and it's a pain to have to manualy equip everything (again, scanners) 3: This one's the controversial one in which sensible people could actualy disagree with me on (if you've disagreed with me on points one and two you aren't sensible) - you press a button. - The game looks at what enemy you're fighting, what the gametype is, what level the game is and what your allies are playing as. It then picks a frame and weapons to best match the sitation. It's not going to pick your best weapon. It's going to pick the best weapon for the situation. If you're fighting low level grineer it isn't going to whip out your akboltor prime, it'l put your low level hek in your hand. 4 you can also label A/B/C mod loadouts so that they're always picking the right one (pick braton A for fighting grineer, B if corpus, D if game is low-level. This would be especially important if the mod system ever became more than just slaping on serration, multishot and more and more elements. . Angius
3rd: If you want to set the different frame/weapon1/weapon2/meele loadouts as suitable for different enemies, so you can switch through them, then I'm ok with that, would be useful. If you are talking about game automatically chosing the best loadout... HELL NAW! Put some work into your game, don't expect everything to be fully automatic! ref92
1 and two are great ideas. Scanning in general is nothing more than a nuisance at the moment, and buying 25 scanners for 500 is not a problem in and of itself-mashing 'enter' to buy as much as you can as quickly as you can is.Third-no. Smart systems are always too dumb. Having saved loadouts with certain frame/weapons and proper pre-set mods would be great, though.
Innocent_Flower
Nope. The best loadout for the level. I mean if you're fighting level 16 grineer it shouldn't automatically whack out your boltor prime level 30 potatoed. (cleaned that up a bit) Edited June 19, 2014 by Innocent_Flower

I've never used more than four slots and it's a pain to have to manualy equip everything (again, scanners) Great ideas, except I would very much enjoy if I could queue up how much I want to buy instead of it being automatic personally. Instead of buying 50 I could just buy 1000 and spend all that money there and then. Automatic stuff can easily mess up. Automatically equipping things is a good idea too. 3: This one's the controversial one in which sensible people could actualy disagree with me on (if you've disagreed with me on points one and two you aren't sensible) - you press a button. - The game looks at what enemy you're fighting, what the gametype is, what level the game is and what your allies are playing as. If you're fighting low level grineer it isn't going to whip out your akboltor prime, it'l put your low level hek in your hand. No. Just no. Do you really want the auto-mod equip system to choose your load out? Also, c'mon. Use your noggin. You can think about what is best for a specific mission. It is not that difficult. 4 you can also label A/B/C mod loadouts so that they're always picking the right one (pick braton A for fighting grineer, B if corpus, D if game is low-level. This would be especially important if the mod system ever became more than just slaping on serration, multishot and more and more elements. . I may be understanding you wrong but you can already do this. Unless you're suggesting another auto-system in which case, no. Shh. Most people use the different mod load outs to fight different factions. I don't, but that's just me.
Kutsuu
I'd have to say no to all sorry, but Buying scanners isnt hard it be easier to just let us choose if we want to buy 25, 50, 100 or even 1000, and I prefer to set up my own gear to the slots i prefer so I know whats what. You have loadouts for a reason I don't want an automatic system doin stuff for me... I want to play the game not have it play for me.
OrangeIncarnate
I disagree with you on 1 and 2, and I assure you I am very sensible. Evidently not sensible enough to put a reason. Eg: if you dont finish a stack of items then it doesnt unequip them making 2 only occur if you run out and therefore unnecessary. Also how often do you actually use gear (excluding dragon keys)? I only use codex scanners 99% of the time, I have used about 5 ammo/energy restores and the cicero toxins. Talk about being lazy.

The first would be good, but there is an even easier to implement alternative: Let me buy multiple ammount of stuff at once, if you press the buy button a window would pop-up with the same ok-cancel options + an extra text box wich let's you set the ammount you want to buy. 2 is just unnecessary for me. I DO use more than 8 consumables. So I set it up each time I need something else.
