0 Credits Reward For Not Making It To Extraction On Time? But Why?

I've been putting up with this for long enough and I've had enough of being quiet about it.

It makes no sense. at all.

Here's why:

1. It punishes players for choosing a Warframe who isn't very fast or isn't built for speed properly or is carrying a Hobbled key. Which is really shady, because it interferes with and basically restricts our playstyle choices.

2. It punishes players for getting confused and/or lost in levels by a sometimes slightly janky waypoint and map system. This might sound a bit silly but I literally do not have enough hands to count the number of times I've gotten lost in a Warframe level.

3. It punishes players for having laggy systems or internet connections. Which they do not necessarily have the financial or technical means to actually DO anything about all of the time.

4. It punishes me even if it's a void session that I hosted and used up my key for (Don't tell me the Prime components make up for it, because the chances that the Prime components actually being something I want are kind of shaky and I never seem to be able to sell anything I DO have a chance of getting)

5. It makes no sense as an anti-AFK measure because, as I have noted, it affects several types of people who AREN'T AFK. Why can't the AFK-checking be based on keyboard movement or mouse movement?

it's even more annoying when people seem to think I'm lying when I tell them "okay guys slow down, come back. I won't get any money if I don't make it to extraction on time" or... simply refuse to wait.

Please refrain from answering this by telling me to "get friends to play with"- I'm not very good at making friends. Nor am I an awfully gregarious person... I have trouble speaking louder than a whisper half the time in public, for christ's sake.

I did not even know this was still a problem, all of my friends who never made it to extraction on time got their credits. I think some people do not even know it is an issue, not that they do not care.

i should probably specify that this happened to me just now when I was on an exterminate mission.

So all of my enemies were already dead when this happened.

and I should probably also specify that I wasn't taking my sweet time or dawdling, I was scrambling to extraction. and telling my team to wait up.

Plus. How exactly do I "follow my team faster"? I have my pinkie finger on the shift key most of the time trying to juice it to the exit. I can't use that "start a wall run and immediately jump off" trick (or is it a bug? i can't tell) all the time.

Also, if this is a bug or glitch, I had no idea that it was, because it seems to happen to me pretty consistently on missions that aren't survival or defense or interception missions (because for those mission types rewards are guaranteed somehow).

Sometimes you get punished for technical reasons. Vor appeared in our T4 Exterminate and I had a strange bug of 1 frame every 3 seconds, I ended up being unable to rush to the exit and my team mates (as smart as they think they are) apparently didn't see in chat "WAIT FOR ME". I got no credits because of something -I- the player had NO CONTROL OVER.

To the idiots saying "Get faster" or "Stay with the team" do you know the number of people who rush as fast as possible and sometimes leave people behind? Some people don't know the tilesets like the back of their hand and the waypoint can confuse them, slowing them down just a -TINY- bit can leave them behind pretty far.

Also you obviously have never tried carrying a hobbled key either. Even as a zephyr, volt, or valkyr, it's still damn slow.

Amphis>Hobb

Actually most coptering>Hobb

I got tired of waiting for the Hobb to waddle his way to the exit/vault so I started using it exclusively for my vault runs. I'm still usually the first one to find the vault(partly because I find most people simply don't look for it, even if it's in the first room) and the first one to the exit.

But, to be fair I don't blame the players for not knowing how to go fast in this game. I blame DE for the fact that they don't seem to be working on a tutorial at all. And that parkour in this game, despite how much work it seems like DE put into it, isn't explained or focused on to any significant depth.

This is there to stop leach credit farming. It happens and is annoying.

To people complaining about being in a slow frame, you have one minute once >=50% of the team is there. If you need more than a minute to catch up to your team, then you are doing something wrong. Maybe play some solo and learn maps and parkour, also coptering makes you fast so you should learn how to do it. I play Frost and Sayrn quite a bit and can stay at the front of my group, or you can use a mod to boost your speed and stamina. Sliding makes you fast and also recovers stamina.

Also people complaining about the hobbled key, as someone who uses it a lot for corrupt mod farming, you can still copter to keep up. Also if you are doing a key run and your team is leaving you behind, then they are a$$h0les and you should get a new team or make one of them carry it and leave them behind. Typically you plan it out so everyone on the team has a different key, so when discussing that tell them not to leave you.

this is to inform everyone that in the time since I made this topic

I have encountered TWO situations where I have arrived on time but STILL got 0 credits.

And ONE situation where the game is stuck in the loading screen and everyone else plays and finishes the mission while I am stuck in the loading screen.

Also the suggestions about "coptering" using the Amphis require me to GET an Amphis and to have it equipped EVEN WHEN I'd rather be using something else, just to get around the 0 credits thing.

Again this falls into the "forcing me to play a certain way" category, unless of course, I can somehow do the coptering trick with some other weapon.

Alright then smart guy, then what about Defense and Survival missions? Why has no similar measure ever been put in place in those?

It's not just about being in a slow frame. It's also about LAG, which I cannot do all that much about, regardless of which frame I pick (I presently have a Mag, Excalibur, Banshee, Vauban, Oberon). People have noticed and been nice enough to point out that I move slower even when I'm sprinting to the max because of it.

And... again, "use speed and stamina mods to fix your slow"- um yes this is again expecting people to adopt a specific mod loadout just to work around this punishment for something that is not always within their control?

I already know the sliding trick. I am already constantly sliding and doing whatever parkour is allowed to me. I don't know what exactly coptering is but one of the other posters here seems to suggest it's a trick/exploit relegated to the Amphis.
