How Do You Get 48 Points From The Event?

Question

Posted

So far the best I've gotten is 36 and around that number and I've only played a few missions.

How many missions do I have to play before the difficulty gets higher and the hives give more points?

You have to keep playing. The more you play, the more points you can end up accumulating.

Seems that fast runs with no bleed outs and stuff seem to get the most points.

What's your total? I was soloing and I could only have a chance at breaking 46 once I've gotten 500 total.

Far as I know, you want to look for Mag, Frost and Virus hives, those are higher scoring ones.

thought the events would let me take a break from farm grinding...:/

you can in fact take a break, there's exactly 168 Hours to aqquire 48 Points.

that's a lot of time to take breaks.

Did 3 runs (best was 14pts), went to Burger King, came back and saw a new hotfix (.8) did one run and got 53 pts  o_O

Finished event in 4 runs without even trying   =D

Mmm, fire mods and new badge  =D

Good luck, I hear just do a lot of runs to stack up or get lucky and hit a PUG run where the other 3 players have already done enough runs and you reap the benefits, like moi  ;)

Deaths, damage, kills et al mean nothing.

It's clearly stated in the mission briefing how to gain points, although I sympathize, at the beginning progress seems intangible. I often got fewer points than the run before.

Stick with the same team the whole time, or solo, so you know the group difficulty level is the same. As you play more missions, the "difficulty" increases, and as the difficulty increases, the enemies do more damage and more valuable (but challenging) mutator hives appear. Once the level 23s start hitting like level 60s and the hives do things like spawn magnetic bubbles and halve your shields, you're well on your way.

I joined a random team at the start and the highest I earned was 25, so I asked Region "What do?" I was told that solo'ing gives you better points.  I managed to hit 50 points in maybe 6 runs on my Rhino Prime.

Awesome, I finally managed to get exactly 48 points by soloing the event and not dying during the mission. Got 48 when my total score was around 450. The Prova Vandal looks pretty awesome but what was all the hype around it in the past? Was it because the image was leaked but the weapon was never released until now?

Either way, glad I got through this event. Can finally take a break.

That was it exactly. It was added into the game during the Gradivus Dilemma along with its counterpart in the Machete Wraith. The Grineer won the battle, so while Prova Vandal remained in the game's code it was unobtainable, leaving us to wonder when, if at all, it would be released.

What the bloody hell.

I've been grinding speed runs nonstop for the past four and a half hours and I'm at 30 points.

Something's wrong if you had to do that many missions.

But yea, I . Know I got lucky with finishing in just 4 runs, all random folks.

Still lvling Bo, then onto Prova but damn its nice to have the fire mods.

My 1st run 9 points, 2nd run even though I died (had hi lvls with me, things got tougher quick) I got 50. Rhino (lvl30 - no forma) with Jat Kittag (lvl 8 at the time) and Latron Prime (lvl 15 or so at the time) You need a good melee wep and shield so you can hang in with a ton of infestation surrounding you, and kill a Hive or two. Not duplicated that run yet, Rhino is not the fastest sprinter out there and sometimes I'm with some fast parties...

RNG makes me want to cry.

Just spent another hour (that's five and a half hours total now), and I'm still at 41.

I did Solo runs until I was over 450 total points and it was going from 42-41 continually for a while. So, I hosted a 400+ lobby and we got 48 on the first try.

You have to stick with the same team for about 45 minutes or so. I jumped around with randoms until I found a group that was consistently getting high 30s. Then I stuck with them for about 30 minutes and finally we hit 48. I have about 700 points total.

In hindsight, going into recruiting would have helped immensely. But I don't know how you can gauge your own "stench," just in case you somehow make your group made because your "stench" is low and you have no way to tell.

Hi

So i was very confused about the how you get points, but i did 20+ solo runs and i scored

7/8/9/10/11/12/13/ then randomly 21-29/33/39 and the last run witch was the hardest i got 48 witch leaves me of total Best:48 Total:469.

There are 6 different hive types and each with different dificulty.

You randomly get one mission, as you complete more and more each type missions i THINK (not 100% sure)

the stench keeps stacking in every mission individualy, that would maeby explain why you get lets say first 33 points in one mission and then 26 points.

So each mission will get harder the more you comlpete them, be patient you will be victorious in the end my fellow Tenno.

Tenno be strong!

Ps: these dual stat mods are amazing.

And each time missions get harder more points you will receive.
