DarkFireRogue Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 My friend had a great idea. We have stance mods and such that can change the performance of a melee weapon, so why can't we do a similar thing with our warframes? I'd like to customize my melee weapon. Give it some personality. Structure it to how I like. I'd also like to do that with my warframe. So, his idea was that there be a second set of each warframe's ability mods that would be completely different than the default ones. These, of course, would be looted, possibly rare, but just give a different flavor to your warframe. It's like if you don't like one slot 2 ability for someone, you have the option of using a completely separate ability made for him that you found. For example, I am an Excalibur, and I decide that I don't like the Jump ability, because I rarely use it, so I look for this second set mod that would allow me to boost melee damage for a short time, or something similar, and applicable to that warframe's style. It's a completely new ability that I found, and can now use. There's quite a few pros to this. This adds lots more diversity and customization, as well as being able to shape your frame to suit you more, instead of dreading certain abilities. It would be some work on DE's end for visual and balancing concerns, but overall, I think it might add to the badassness that is warframe, and the pride that players put into them.
Rubb Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 I really like this idea. Sometimes I play my rhino and I really like to use Heavy impact on him and jump into the fray from high places :D A new set of mods for each warframe / or some for everyone would be realy nice ^^
