Elemental Melee Weapons

Just a question for DE, are you guys ever going to take a look at the elemental melee weapons? The current inconsistencies is disturbing. Right now, we have 3 kinds of elemental melee weapons

1. The purely elemental melee weapons, eg Serro.

2. The purely physical 'cept for slam attacks melee weapons, eg Heat Sword

3. The purely physical but-should-be-elemental melee weapons, eg Scoliac

So, why the inconsistencies? Especially since some of the weapons in each group doesn't seem to belong there.

In group 1, for example, the Prova. Its an electrified metal baton, shouldn't it have impact damage? Or the Dual Ichors. Its a pair of infested blades, it should be slicing up enemies too, no? Even the Serro, which some people have argued that it's more of an arc welder, meaning it melts/burns through instead of cut. However, the way you swing it around, it's pole would still strike the enemy, dealing physical damage.

In group 2. The Heat Swords. Basically a metal sword heated up to blazing temperatures by unknown means, yet does not a single point of heat damage on a normal slash. At the very least, shouldn't it be doing pure heat damage? Seeing as how the heated blades would cauterize wounds just as they open. Another would be the Amphis. It's an electrified staff, but does no electric damage on normal attacks.

Group 3. Scoliac. Said to deal heart stopping toxic damage on each charge attack, but not a single source of toxic damage seen, not even on its jump attacks.

I'd just love some consistency, please? Certain weapons could still be fully elemental, like the Heat Swords or Lecta, but others just don't make sense to not deal any physical damage at all.

Agreed.

I'm tormented by this question every day, why Serro doesn't has at least Corrosive dmg (Developed as an energy saw to scrap obsolete ships)

People have argued that it's an arc welder, meaning it uses electricity to melt through the metal rather than cut, so in that sense im fine with it being electricity. However, the way you swing it, it does look like it'd do some impact damage at least. An electrified impact polearm would be nice against the Corpus.

Amphis?

Although  shock only comes off one of the combos, and jump.
