Another Patch... And Still We Have Horrible Void Drop Tables

Yes, another thread. That's because it's still a problem.

177 total items. 154 prime bits. 85 unique prime bits. 45% of the available prime bits are still worthless duplicates. 39% of the entire listed drop table are worthless duplicates (as opposed to forma, which is the only useful duplicate).

 

And this doesn't cover the void keys, fusion cores and resources. Or the massively uneven probability distribution for item drops (see: rhino prime chassis < 1%, boar prime blueprint ~13%)

 

How much longer is this going to go on for?

Seriously, if you've not gotten it it's probably supposed to be rare so you have a reason to keep going into the void, even after 20, 50, or whatever ridiculously exaggerated number you can come up with, runs. It's RNG @(*()$ up if you get it on the first run, imo

I love it how everyone tells him to just deal with it while he's got a point. You do realize with each new prime gear the drops get worse and they do that on purpose to get people to buy prime access.

Btw there's a difference between rare and atrocious. Plus don't forget there's RNG involved.

I mean it doesn't matter DE did overhauls on sound, levels. Gave us new bosses, Tower IV Keys. I mean DE suck right?

You do realize that if people enjoy the game they are more likely to spend money and fund the game? They could accomplish so much more if the grind wasn't so horrible as it is right now. Last time I checked most people don't like grinding for things for weeks. I'm not saying I'm ungratefull for all the free content. But when somethings f**ked up you provide feedback about it.

I'm going to suggest that people *do* actually enjoy grinding for weeks on some level.

 

If they didn't, they would simply ignore the current latest batch of primes, and focus their efforts on last season's, which have a much greater drop chance.  That's what I did with the Rhino season primes, and worked out quite well.  A quick look over the history of the drop rate will show you that's how it works.

 

This is actually closer to "I don't want to wait, I don't want to pay, and I don't want to grind."  Doesn't leave a lot of room for DE to work in.

Yeah, there's this lovely new boss... except that you'll never see Hek without a horrible grindfest, so why bother? There's this lovely new warframe and fancy new weapon... that you'll never see because it's locked behind 2 separate RNG walls, the latter of which has extremely low probabilities of getting what you want and extremely high probabilities of getting useless crap instead. Yay for doing the same mission thirty times and seeing absolutely no sense of progress. That's called frustration and drives people away from the game.

 

There is no point in adding more stuff if you can't actually get to it.

Well lets see, every piece of new content is money for them, either from market, prime access or trading. + they need new content to keep players, no one will play mmo without any content updates.

Space ship and new tilesets are meant to improve new player experience and monotonny  De cant make money out of ppl who dont want to play

 

t4 keys means extra money from key packs and trading and frustration leads to buying prime access, vay hek?? terrible grindfest pushing player to skip it by buying hydroid or at least trade for his keys. 

They arent doing anything different than casino with gift shop, difference is that casino offers always needed money, while warframe offers a way to waste/spend our time.

 

I cant remember even 1 moment after getting my 3rd frame and later after seeing voids for 1st time that i cared about anything else than loot. 

Ppl dont enjoy grinding, they enjoy getting loot.
