Inquisitioner
It's sad that as soon as something is actually bit of a challenge, some people demand it to be just as easy as everything else.
MisturTentacles
They need a MAJOR nerf especially in defense, it makes no sense that I die instantly with max vitality without even seeing the cloud, they are fine in the event, but infested defense is completely ruined... CHALLENGE =/= FUN This game is about fun, not dying instantly from invisible gas, that is toitally lame. FUN DON'T FORGET IT. Yes I agree with you infested defense is now ruined for me, Vauban's vortex skill can ground them a bit but they can dash and break free from it
Diarist
Life strike won't really do much against them since they're so small and they are hard to hit and if you get near them you get toxic damage Life Strike the enemies around them to stay alive, is what I am saying. Obviously it's not going to magically make you hit them. It doesn't solve the problem but it fkin helps, that's for sure.
uppertiggy
they do seem to do a bit to much toxic damage at the time being, i like having a challenge but atm the antitoxin seems to do nothing to help at all and seems like garanteed death right now. Tr1ples1xer
you die instanly from the gas with max vitality and vigor, surely this was a mistake... or im never doing odd again.

Correct me if I'm wrong but they hit you with a lot of poison damage and life strike can only restore a lot of health but what will happen if you run out of energy and you are still suffering from toxic damage? Diarist
Good, vortex vs. infested is probably the most boring aspect of Warframe. I know someone who said they'll quit the game if Vortex doesn't work on the upcoming Juggernaut. As a person who plays Vauban a lot and realizes how outright broken he is, I hope my CC doesn't do a thing to them. Ever. There needs to be some kind of enemies that can resist our BS to will them away in a millisecond.

Methanoid
Infested ospreys can bring your health down faster than you can restore it at higher levels especially on dark sectors well i didnt mean stand around them forever trying to tank the dmg for ages, you can stagger deploy 3-4-5 or so heal pads instead of all at once so the periodic heal arrive in small batches as opposed to a huge hp boost after a large delay, then mash away with melee or powers/weapons and move asap. MisturTentacles
Why would you melee them? I was suggesting to increase the holster speed so people that like to melee can take a gun out and rapidly dispose of them. I stated in this post that I had trouble leveling my melee weapon because of those infested ospreys because if you use a gun to rapidly dispose of them that would give more exp to your gun and not to your melee weapon

Monitoring your energy and health and knowing when and when not to channel is not really a difficult thing to wrap your head around. I'm sorry but it just sounds like you're not even trying alternate solutions to try and survive, just crying for nerf. Should their damage be reduced a bit? Yeah, I think they should just so they're not getting guaranteed kills on every unprepared player. Are YOU trying to use alternate solutions for the time being to adapt to them? No, you aren't. And you're arguing with every suggestion people have given you.

Tr1ples1xer
People asking for nerfs and wanting more and more challenge are ruining this game imo. Dying is NOT FUN FFS !!
Arlayn
Yes I know you guys are saying that we need a challenge but this?? This is a little bit too much it's not everytime we bring a rhino into a mission. Even though we bring pistols imagine how hard it is to hit a small oxium osprey that keeps on dashing a LOT By far the worst comparison. The Oxium Osprey IS HUGE. How are you not able to shoot the broad side of a barn?

Yes I am TRYING to use alternate solutions for them atm, just so you know I'm also taking into account what you guys are suggesting but my main topic here is about melee against these guys, I have no problem at all with the other ospreys the corpus throws at me but an osprey that deals a lot of toxic damage is just too much

This is like demanding for unlimited ammo because you don't want to run out of ammo on guns you are trying to level and be forced to resort to using a tool that is available to you, the melee weapon. Oh their damage needs to be reduced, absolutely no doubt in my mind. But until then (which you know they'll do), there are plenty of solutions for dealing with them. Unprepared players should be punished yes, but not outright killed. There are ways to melee Ospreys. It's a pain in the &#! and not worth it at all, but it's possible. Would like if it was a bit easier and more practical than jump attacking like a spazz *coughgiveusaircombos/slashingcough*

Xsannz
> Challenge Death sentence upon touch after level 100 is a challenge? "Hah you better not touch these super fast and agile flying units that take ages to kill or you'll die instantly! Don't bother reviving your ally too, because you'll end up just like him!" So fun to be instagibbed yes? Edited June 20, 2014 by Tryysaeder
Shin
No Thank you keep it... too many noobs ask for nerf. A challenge is always welcome. If you think taking too much from a low level mob is a challange, you need to google the meaning of Noob and Challange.
