Kudos De, Best Event Scoring System Yet!

In the past seemed the events required you to be locked to you PC for a week to stay competitive, this event seems to work more off your ability to survive!

Albeit seems random at times, I feel like I can be at my job....and not see my score be completely lost to the peeps with...um...more game time.......

Thanks for the progressive steps you guys are taking to bring a balanced scoring model.

yep, pretty straight forward, more runs = more stink, more stink = higher score

 

i also like the averaging to the groups scores, brings low scores up fast

depends on the total bank. Higher number = higher single score.

If People have (Squad of 4):

High+High+High+High= High Result

High+Medium+High+Medium= Medium-High Result

High+Medium+Low+Medium = Low-Medium Result

Low+Low+Low+Low = Low

Solo: it adds up everytime because it averages out yours only.

Rule of thumb get a consecutive squad and no randoms everytime

i had that too yesterday. squad of 3. I got a 46 and everybody else got a 42.

But it does go up with the total averaged out. a random join with a 100ish point bank. and our score dropped to 34. then back up to 46(random left and we closed the lobby to invite only). then over the 48 to get the prova the round after.

high total score people will get you good best score at the end of the mission.

so yeah, with 4 people doing the same thing x1000 makes them the highest score

 

so its basically a tiresome thing for an empty epeen reward

It is quite brilliant... But just like always, DE is too smart for their own good.

 

The system works perfectly for all facets of gamers. It's RNG with an ever increasing probability to succeed, but players don't understand it, and just like cavemen when first introduced to fire, they are scared and angry by that which they do not understand.

 

Do yourself a favor, just get as many points as you can in 6 days. The mission is more fun than anything else we currently have, so what is there to lose?
