Coverop Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Note: If the thread is in wrong section, please move it. I'm curious if Digital Extreme will see this topic. It's important for some people who wants to make videos / machinimas of Warframe. What options you may ask? Well, just few, few very crucial. 1. Ambient sound. Sometimes when I want to get a specific sound I need to disable a lot of audio-options (Music , FX , Transmission) to get a specific sound... but often I get other sounds (Ambient) which I don't need. 2. Remove model [On/Off]. I've been struggling for weeks with a problem of removing model to have clear vision (no gun , no player model , no sentinel). Apparently there is just one thing that allows me to have CLEAR VISION... and that thing is a sniper. Sniper provides a HUGE (sometimes way too big) zoom, making scenes/pictures look terrible. If we could adjust zoom somehow (like mods---decrease zoom effect) then it wouldn't be a problem. Here's an example: SNIPER + REMOVE HUD (zoom is too big) ANY GUN + ZOOM MOD (not big enough to hide the gun) DE, please consider adding those options to the game. Edited June 21, 2014 by Coverop
Coverop Posted June 21, 2014 Author Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Its a 3rd person game What. try using the seer with hawk eye Actually this is a good advice. But it has same zoom / fov as VULKAR (sniper). So kinda meh. Edited June 21, 2014 by Coverop
tveeggad Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) Hawk eye on Seer won't work too well, you'll still see the gun, sadly. EDIT: Speaking of snipers, have you tried the Vectis? It has the lowest zoom. I guess it's the best option available if you screw around with the FOV slider. EDIT#2: Forgot to mention, I agree with you. Even if I don't make videos, I can see how these factors can be problematic. ... Also, I just realised you're Coverop. If DE could give an option to remove noises and player model to make your day better, then they better do it. Edited June 21, 2014 by ConcretePie
Ionus Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Have you tried the codex scanner? I'm not sure how it works with HUD turned off though,,,
tveeggad Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 Have you tried the codex scanner? I'm not sure how it works with HUD turned off though,,, I launched a quick mission and checked - this works. The only problem is the fact that the codex highlights stuff. Computer terminals, containers, boxes.. Shame.
