i have been setting my key maps every time i play in a different computer.
every time.
for over 1 year.

i even feel like your default key map is the worst I've ever used(personal opinion, you may disregard).

That's odd. It actually saves other data, such as volume, graphic options, among others.

Your settings are saved in C:\Users\"the computer's username"\AppData\Local\Warframe

I also play in different computers all the time since I started playing warframe. What I do is i copy the whole folder in a flash drive or upload it in an online storage then I place it in the computer i'm going to play on.

you have played longer than me so if you have been doing this all the time then maybe this wont cause data coruption of any sorts

Haven't experienced any data corruption.

Actually, since I travel a lot, I store warframe in a flash disk. As in the whole game not just the appdata folder. If I find a decent PC to play it on then I just open my flash disk, run a batch file that i made to install the game to the flash disk, and play it from there.
