De = Corpus -Or- Why Intelligent Suggestions Mean Nothing

Here's an idea for an additional monetization scheme DE could employ:

Pay for early access. This is basically how it is, but they do not use it fully. When a new frame comes out, you can either buy it and have it right away or you can farm the things, to farm more things, to farm the boss, then farm the resources, to build the pieces, which takes a day, then build the frame, which takes 3 more days. So that's 4 days plus the time it took to plant those crops and bring them to harvest.

Now what if, WHAT IF... DE put out SOME content available for PLAT ONLY 2 weeks to 1 month ahead of general release.

With a balance pass on market prices, I think plenty of people would drop plat to get early access.

The caveat is that IF DE implements something like this, they must agree to a reasonable minimum drop rate and some other list of demands TBA.

I'd be OK with that. If this were done, I would organise the void drop tables like so:

-The only acceptable end of mission or wave rewards are prime blueprints, prime parts, cooked forma (optional under the new system), forma blueprints and possibly potato blueprints as well (see later).

-Each prime part or blueprint may not appear in more than one mission type's drop table, or more than once in a single drop table.

-Forma and forma blueprints may appear in more than one drop table, but may not appear more than once in a single drop table.

-Capture, exterminate and other single-reward missions have a pool of x rewards which they can drop. Defence and interception missions allow you to choose a reward, but you only get one - they may have a pool which is 2x in size. Survival missions may have a pool which is 3x or 4x in size. Items may be allocated to missions manually to create tiers of prime gear, but the number of items in each mission must conform to this numerical limit.

-For each mission's drop table, every item must have the same probability of appearing. Because of this, cooked Forma may be omitted from the normal reward tables if the chance of encountering it is too high.

-There is to be no clustering of rewards into wave or time-based brackets. Every mission type will have exactly one reward pool, no matter how far along you are.

-The one exception for the above list is that potato blueprints and cooked Forma may appear with an extremely low chance in place of the reward you would have gotten (0.5% or lower?). This is neither necessary nor requested, but is listed as the sole exception to the above rules.

EDIT: some small clarification.

 TELL ME IT HASN'T CHANGED.

It hasn't changed.

Melee is still mash E.

Modding is still "slap on the +dmg%, multishot and any elements you can fit".

The same overpowered crowd control and support abilities of frames still work the same.

There's still nothing else to do  but grind.

That sums up what I'm doing pretty much.

With the exception of mash E for Melee, because I stopped using Melee for the most part ever since using Melee against the Melee faction is suicide thanks to Mutalist Ospreys covering you in toxin clouds while being distracted.

Somehow ironic after the hype of Melee 2.0. Find myself using Melee only when I'm out of ammo and out of energy, the way I used it before Melee 2.0 was released because it's been quite useless back then as well.

It's also fun to mention that I stopped switching between Mod Loadouts because there's sooo many elemental damage mods now that it doesn't matter which elemental combination overnukes the enemy. The few percent of debuff for wrong combination don't change anything if you still have like 5.000 (or more) elemental damage per shot of the wrong type. xD
