Machwerk
Hi, I desperately wish for an option in the gameplay menu to disable the effects of other player's abilities on the own warframe. E.g. Loki's switch, Vauban's Bounce, Valkyr's Rip line. These abilities are only used on other players to troll around in my experience. Ty :) EDIT: Clarification: I don't mean the visual effects, but the ability effects. I want an option to turn it off and on anytime. I am aware that this also would affect Blessing - so it should be switchable during the game. Dota2 also has this feature, and Dota2 gameplay relies heavily on players putting abilities on teammates. Xirka
No. This is not going to happen, just because some people use these powers to troll does not mean that they need to be turned off in any way.
YashiroSora
Im not a person who trolls, say your getting ploughed away from infested and im trying to get you out, i cant switch with you if you turn it off can i? It also means abilities like Roar would be useless to you, or Volt's Speed. And here i thought you mean visual effects.
Xirka
I thought he would mean visuals as well at first... Visuals being off for the sake of performance I could see being a thing....

(PSN)IIIDevoidIII
I don't need a video... I help with switch. Heck, I've helped players with Ripline and Bounce. Don't assume everyone is just being a jerk.
Machwerk
Just to clarify: I don't want the effects to be switched off completely - Just every player should be able to turn it off and on anytime. I am aware that this also would affect Blessing - so it should be switchable during the game. Dota2 also has this feature, and Dota2 gameplay relies heavily on players putting abilities on teammates. And about the Loki bashing - don't derail this Topic.

Machwerk
Your Idea is bad to prevent griefing because I just can't play every team game with clan mates. And please don't say "go to a bigger/better clan..", that's not helpful on the topic. How would this hurt the player? If you could just turn off each individual Teammate via a Tab menu, I can't see downsides. Edited June 21, 2014 by Machwerk
Xirka
There are many downsides, and if you can not see the flaws in your idea, it is all the worse.
Machwerk
That's not an argument. That's something a troll would say. Please don't be a troll. Edited June 21, 2014 by Machwerk
Xirka
I am being serious. If you can not see the flaws in your idea, then there is not much else to say here.
Cwierz
I use switch teleport to teleport disruptors/toxic ancients away from players that are about to be hit, I also switch them out of glitched positions, and help them cross parkour puzzles they have issues with. I have used ripline to pull a downed teammate into cover so they could be revived.
Methanoid
screen shake is rather annoying with other players being the source, such as ogris fire etc, esp if your zoomed in with a latron or vectis type weapon, cant hit a damned thing, screen shake imho should affect only the player causing it, that or others get a vastly diminished effect.
