Plat Giveaway Devstream

Not sure where else to try posting this , my girlfriend and i were logged in to yesterday's devstream#31 when she was lucky enough to win the 2nd platinum prize giveaway , almost 24 hours on and still no plat or any sort of confirmation/time estimate hoping someone can shine some light on this or if anyone else has won it in the past could tell how long it took for it to be applied . thanks in advance .

Yeah she did she accidentally put her twitch name first which has one more letter . they replied to say the name couldn't be found on database so she replied with her in game she was in shock at the time from having won .

I would if i knew where the appropriate section was and that link says support is only open monday-friday hence why im asking here ..

As TRSS said, try contacting [DE]Rebecca, she has an account on the forums, as you said support is closed until monday so your best bet is to contact one of the staff members. Hope you can solve the problem, have a nice day/night.

thanks i have messaged Rebecca's profile on the forums hopefully that helps, i did also see the other plat winners didn't receive theirs yet either so im guessing its just going slow

Well Rebecca and Megan almost never reply on the forums during the weekend so they probably wont see your message until Monday either. I'm also guessing thats why they haven't awarded your gf her plat cause they aren't in the office to do so.

well still no sign of it and its monday i have posted absolutely everywhere about it including support desk and their facebook etc looks like she not going to get it. i thought really highly of warframe dev's until this

So they finally payed it and its non tradeable plat so she can't buy anything from trade or even tell how much tradeable plat she has from non tradeable . absolutely pathetic

no, it's not pathetic, it's a gift, she should keep it. 1000 plats is a lot, I think it's normal that it's non tradeable

When trading started it was stated that prize Pt would not be tradeable.  It is still 1000 Pt that can be spent on so many things without caring BECAUSE IT WAS FREE!  Buy like a bunch of 'frames or the latest weapons or a bucket of cosmetics BECAUSE IT WAS A FREE GIFT!

 

Although, not being able to tell how much you can spend in trade could be awkward.  Maybe you should post in the feedback forums and see if they'll tweak the UI to have [bought Pt]/[prize Pt] for those lucky people who have won prize draws.

you missed my point comepletely what was pathetic was the fact they assumed we knew it was non tradeable (which we didnt as we are new to game)

Thats a good idea thanks. i will post that and if she didnt already have all frame + weapon sots and pretty much most cosmetics except the ones she didnt want to begin with then yeah i would agree 1000 non tradeable plat was still useful . but in our case it is not :D i suppose she can just keep it until something new comes
