Help For Tenno That Have Trouble Getting Bullets To Hit Things

A few beginning notes:

 

1) I have no experience with forums, so expect lots of mistakes and awkwardness

2) I don't have a whole lot of skill involving Warframe.  I can get by, and I don't think I'm a bad player, but I could be better.

3) Please use correct grammar in your posts.  If you don't want to use apostrophes in words like "you're", "wasn't", "don't", etc., I can deal with that, but please differentiate between "its" and "it's" because they mean different things.

4) This topic was created with the intention of drawing notice to my specific issues with the Hek, but I want it to be used to help other or newer players that might not have as much experience with shooters, even though most of the weapons in the game are hit-scan

 

Finally getting to my issue with the Hek...

 

I faced Vor in the Void and did barely any damage to him with my Hek, even though I shot at the space between his halves and I was at point-blank range.  It seemed like I had to shoot him in the back to do any damage.  I haven't tried recently, and that may have been when I was leveling my Hek for, like, the 4th time, but this could be anactual bug or just my shoddy aiming.  I also had issues facing Vay Hek, but that may have been due to distance and the small window you have to hit his actual face, plus I suck at hitting targets that move like he does.

Make sure you play with hosts that you have good connection to, and make sure your rig can run the game.

A lot of the time, those are the main reasons people have trouble hitting things in the game.

 

Flying enemies are also annoying as hell to hit. Its bad enough with how wonky and random the ai is, but when you add in 3 dimensional movement it becomes super nasty.

Well Hek is a shotty and as most it has fall off and spread, though with hek I prefer a long range rifle so I don't worry about the missing at a distance unless you can get to him close enough,  With Void Vor I thought you had to hit his halves not the glowy part. though someone can help with that.   What's your Hek build This is what I use for Hek if it's a group since it has a great accuracy and tight spread
