Help Regarding Steam Wallet

Not sure if this goes here, but I recently started playing warframe yesterday.

 

The problem I am having is that I bought a warframe: initiate pack on Steam just a few moments ago. But I downloaded the game through the website, not through steam. Would I still be able to use the initiate pack I bought for my account? or is it tied to my Steam account?

Damn...So I've wasted the last couple days, huh... is it possible to somehow connect the two  accounts together? Or to move the credits over?

Its tied to your steam account. You have to re-download the game, when you log into warframe through the steam version it should ask you if you would like to apply the warframe pack to your account.

 

 

I guess you could go back to the website version if you dont want to continue using steam.

Go to warframe.com (rather than Forum page) and click on your username. There is a link to sync with your steam account there, under Account Management.

No link to sync my steam account there...=/ Only gives me the option to change my password or my alias

You CAN´T link the non Steam version to Steam. YOU HAVE TO INSTALL WARFRAME AND PLAY IT FROM STEAM.

I've figured it out.

 

I downloaded the warframe client through steam, and logged on with my regular account.

 

afterwards, the client gave me an option to link my warframe account to the steam account I was currently logged in on.
