7grims Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) Now that Sechura and all the infested maps have been IMPROVED, all the defense and and survivals are equally good. Finally the days of infested-grind-meat-for-xp is over. Edited June 22, 2014 by 7grims
SharkWithALaserBeam Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 the void. hasnt it always been? or is that balanced for you too?
izzatuw Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 How is Sechura bad now? ODD like the good old days?
Allves Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 What actually changed? The map seems to be the same for me, except those new Ospreys.
MonsieurZero Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 The addition of mutalist ospreys have a tendency punish the use of melee, being very difficult to take down with the use of melee, and enveloping the entire area with poison gas that is very difficult to avoid. Unless you're a rhino or a valkyr, ranged weapons are pretty much forced on you now.
(PSN)Abyss_666 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 What actually changed? The map seems to be the same for me, except those new Ospreys. I suppose that's what the problem is people have been going insane over these guys. I can't judge myselfs since I'm on ps4
_numbernin9 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Quite like the ospreys, they seem to have rid most infested defence games of that 'gotta sit up on my perch and make it rain with my penta' mindset.
Pendragon1951 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I have to say if your really into having to use your melee weapon do missions other than Defense, I for one could never understand the practicality of using a melee weapon on defense. I constantly see guys swinging their weapons after the enemy is long dead being killed by someone from afar. I concede you can probably use it if your cornered in one place but that is what your CC power is for.
Valkyr-Umbra Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Depending on the frames you bring, Sechura's still a viable xp grind. If you get a map with good perches (which is most of them) and have a nyx to draw aggro/radiate explosive death with absorb, you're probably good. Add a Vauban, radial stun Banshee, Nova, or even Frost to the mix as a safety in case the Nyx goes down and you're good to go (also, a hysteria-build valkyr for revives isn't bad, but completely unnessential.)
