Void Key Consumption... Bug?

So I ran a Survival void mission, died at around 27 minutes (solo) [i had no more revives due to past missions] and the mission failed, so I was sent to the menus, shown my stats, and then I went back to my key section, but it wasn't there, keep in mind, I didn't quit the game.

as far as i know if the objective is completed, but the mission fails, u lose the key (and in survival the 5m triggers objective completion)

To stop people quitting or intentionally failing if they didnt get what they want in survival to keep the key and try again they made it so after 5mins you lose the key no matter how you finish. Same with defence after 5 waves
