Why All Recent Event Weapons = No Polarities?

why have all recent event weapons been without polarities? I remember when the strun wraith and other weapons had polarities. however it seems the gorgon wraith and prova vandal have no polarities, why is that?

I think the first 28 seconds fits in quite nicely.

Strun wraith doesn't have any extra polarities. It only has the 1 bar polarity that regular strun has too. Only event reward weapon that has had additional polarities is machete wraith.

Primes: Boar, Braton, Bronco, Burston, Fang, Glaive, Lex, Orthos, Sicarus (9)

Vandals: Prova, Snipetron (2)

Wraiths: Gorgon, Strun, Twin vipers (3)

Dex: Furis (1)

Total: 14

 

Special weapons with counterparts that DO have extra polarities

Primes: Akbronco, Ankyros, Bo, Boltor, Latron, Paris (6)

Wraiths: Machete (1)

Total: 7 (11 if you count skana prime, lato prime&vandal and braton vandal.)

 

So no matter how you look at it, a clear majority of the special weapons dont have extra polarities on them. Can we now put to the rest the myth that special variant weapons must always have extra polarities?

prova = corpus, and all corpus stuff i own at least have zero free polarities, nothing some forma cant fix tho.

My mistake I thought there were more, but clearly I wasn't paying attention.

Though, my point was in regards to the OP that there was never really anything supporting that they needed extra polarities and that two weapons out of 25 including primes, founders', and lato/braton vandal wasn't the best way to carry a point.
