WaGGu Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I've met lots of warframes with this dark, black-red combo colors, are these just simple colors (bought on platinum) or is this something different?(https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-PCV1z6vtFYU/Up5Ik1NT_-I/AAAAAAAABNA/dK6G1KUpe0Q/w1358-h764-no/ASH+WARFRAME.png)Like this. But some of them is even glowing, or I don't know, they are pulsating :D
WaGGu Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 oh and if these are simple colors, are they on one palette?
Letter13 Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Smoke Palette and probably Halloween Palette (for that intense red).
LukeAura Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 (edited) There are a couple reds near mid left in the Storm pack that get fairly intense. The Valentines day pack also had some very dark reds near the bottom left but you'll have to wait until next February if you missed it. rapt0rman Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 The black is from the smoke color pack, and you can find various good reds throughout a lot of the packs.
DaftMeat Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Smoke and Classic Saturated were all I ever bought for plat, and all I ever wanted/needed.
OkamiMilo Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Smoke Palette and probably Halloween Palette (for that intense red). Exactly, the smoke palette have this all type of blacks and white, like smoke, and the halloween palette, have this intense reds and red like blood, but the classic palette have reds too.
meIody- Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Smoke Palette and probably Halloween Palette (for that intense red). Or Valentine.
LoopStricken Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Please don't use the purest blackest of black. Ever.It removes the detail, just looks like a blob.
ExplodingStars Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Please don't use the purest blackest of black. Ever. It removes the detail, just looks like a blob. Not enough people stress this enough Then again, coloring one's warframe is one's decision. But bad taste remains bad taste.
xethier Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 Please don't use the purest blackest of black. Ever. It removes the detail, just looks like a blob. it's good for accent colors, but awful when used as the primary or secondary color.
Archwizard Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 I primarily use the Smoke colors for shades of black and dark grey. For reds, the brightest you can get is a blood red from the Halloween palette. For darker colors I use the Valentine pack, and for maroons in between I use the Classic Saturated.
rapt0rman Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 it's good for accent colors, but awful when used as the primary or secondary color. Especially when it reveals all the terrible grey lines that separate all the larger chunks of color >.<
