What Are The Equipment Armor Effects?

If you mean the Cosmetic Armor pieces then none of them have effects on them except for a factor of blinding people with how cool you look. The reason why is because all comes back to when Helmets had effects and many people complained about how it made some frames unbalanced or you could work around them. So they said, alright, let's remove the effects on Helmets now and lets make it where armor doesn't do the same thing or else we will get backlash again.

All armor effects, if any, are only cosmetic. There are no stats in the armors.

But the (Arcane) helmets were mission alert rewards that also had a negative effect.  The Armor is bought in the marketplace with real plat monies.  It should actually be armor.

Well, that is true that armor should be something other then cosmetics but the problem that came from Helmets was that Rhino became an open fast running truck or it made some frames op or you could work around the effects. People tried to suggest better ways, others hated the system don't right.

 

After DE seeing the storm that was brewed from it, it was removed.

 

Also, if we added bonuses to these armor and put them in the market, people would clamor "PAY2WIN" and DE would face the entire crap storm of the fan base.(Not entirely, some would defend and say they should deserve it and blah blah blah, but most would most likely disagree.)

 

You could balance it out with negative effects but then your pissing off those who only bought it for cosmetic purposes. Now they were just given the middle finger out of nowhere and have their frames reduced out of nowhere...unless they could keep the current system where you could convert your armor into stateless armor...hmmm...
