Just thowing it out in here for other xfire users.
On some systems (depens on version/type of windows) xfire ingame ovelay* can cause Warframe to run at 2-3fps for some reason. Simple solution is to disable it in Tools - Option - In-Game Overlay. This is also what causes people in Planetside 2 being unable to move/look around.
Overlays in general are capable of causing many problems with games in general and some older anticheat programs flag people with them aswell, therefor i would recommend disabling them without hesitation.
* also might be caused by other ingame overlays like mumble, teamspeak3, etc.
