Posted

Hey guys, i am mastery 11 and unfortunately have no event mods.

This is the boltor Prime  build i currently run;

(4 damage mods) Serration, Heavy Cal, Piercing hit, Split Chamber

Hammer Shot, Shred, Infected Clip, Stormbringer

I mostly run t3 void, 50ish defence waves, 45 ish mins survival.

Any advice on how to improve this build??

My build: 40 min t4 survival with no problems, 60+ in t3: Heavy cal, serration, shred (multi-kill!!!), split chamber, electric damage, poison damage, freeze damage (combo should be corrosive + freeze!).

Destroys.

NO EVENT MODS? how dare you to ask my help you inferior player  :D

Try these one For void/infested : http://goo.gl/8c2cr8 or http://goo.gl/7hu1Av ( cicero mod drops from Vor and the fire from the event that happens now)

For grineer : http://goo.gl/sWIk3m

For corpus : http://goo.gl/felbpx

And ther you have it all factions / enemies enjoy

Forgive me for only recently joining, a few months ago xD

We ps4 players have yet to have the pleasure of cicero drops and this fire event :(

If you can't mod stack, I'd replace hammershot and piercing hit with the appropriate bane and speedtrigger.

If you're in the void, replace the bane with a cold damage element.

Remove piercing and hammershot.

Use Infected clip and stormbringer for corrosive damage.

Of course max serration, heavy caliber and Split chamber.

You don't have thera's mods? You could use high voltage in that build.

I use rifle ammo mutation and you could vary and put some rate of fire (shred)

My recommendations are for all kinds of factions, since you're new you might not have all available ps4 mods.

The Base everyone agrees on is Serration, HCal, SplitChamber, 180% Corrosive and 90% Cold.

That leaves 2 slots.

The 3 common fills I see for those slots are:

+120% Corrosive (2x event mods, which you dont have)

+60% Corrosive +30% RoF (1x event mod and Shred, which you could do in a couple patches with some T4 Vor farming)

+60% RoF and Ammo Mutation (Speed Trigger)

The third option actually has the highest DPS and is the only possibility for you to do. I suppose you could run Shred instead of ST but ammo mut is only really needed when using 60% RoF. I wouldn't use ST and Shred together, for 90% RoF, as the ammo consumption is just too wasteful.

I just got my boltor prime and im having trouble pulling off this corrosive + cold combo no matter where I put the mods I get either blast + toxin or viral + heat and its really annoying me lol how does one get this combo?

I personally can't recommend shred enough, it's awesome for dealing with crowds, especially on the boltor. I posted a topic similar to this one a few days ago and got some help, this is what I wound up deciding on:

http://warframe-builder.com/Primary_Weapons/Builder/Boltor_prime/t_30_33242232_131-3-5-132-7-5-133-0-5-134-5-5-137-2-10-141-1-5-149-6-5-150-4-10_133-6-141-6-137-7-131-5-150-8-134-6-149-11-132-8/en/2-0-44/11451/0

If you're using up to much ammo with it, I recommend switching out speed trigger with hellfire, but so far its worked great for me, and it teaches you to burst-fire.

Corrosive: stormbringer and infected clip.

Cold: cryo rounds.

That's it for a void loadout.

The problem you're running into is the BoltorP has that damned D polarity in the top left spot. You'll need to leave it blank. At least until you forma the gun and can move it, or (better yet) forma it off.

I would keep the D polarity actuallly. Void uses Cold, Grineer uses Viral, Corpus uses Magnetic, and without event mods you may consider building Blast for Infested. So every build will use Cryo Rounds in some capacity. I would suggest getting some forma on it asap to move the polarity; because of the positioning issue, weapons with a D in the upper left gain a jump of something like 35% DPS after the first forma for Void builds.
