Loki Invisibility Bug Since 13.8.0

Ever since the recent patch Loki's Invisibility has not been able to produce constant stealth crits and shooting a weapon that isn't silent now alerts enemies of your presence. It also seems this bug is affecting Ash and Excalibur. Both not constantly dealing crits on melee stealth attacks and enemies can hear their gun shots. I'm assuming these are bugs because there was no mention of them in the patch notes.

Screen shot of invisibility melee attack not showing stealth crit:

I was able to find out what the problem is. It is a bug with stealth itself.

If your body comes into contact with an enemy, your stealth multipliers become nullified. In short, you have to use your melee weapon at a sweet-spot range to get your stealth multiplier.

This makes stealth melee lose out on a lot of potential DPS, especially in end game where enemies no longer die in one hit, and your melee will inevitably make you walk into enemies due to the nature of melee slowly moving you forward.

Ah I see that means its almost impossible to get stealth hits with weapons like daggers and fists, hopefully they fix the bugs soon.

Clearly AI improvements

It isn't so clear as that. Sometimes, yes, changes to the game are forgotten in patch notes. However something as important as AI improvements, that people have been wanting since the game started, wouldn't be forgotten. Stealth nerf, as in they changed it without telling everyone? Sure that's plausible.

Loki's invisibility does muffle sound though, and this is sci-fi so his sound muffle effect could easily apply to weapons. That said, "lol sci-fi" is a flimsy excuse at best and I don't expect it to be taken seriously or even changed. However, silent weapons like say Dread, they would alert the enemy to your EXACT position if you don't kill them in one shot. Alerting to your presence is fine, but making them charge straight at you isn't right and not realistic in any sense. Now let's say you do get a one hit kill, which isn't difficult with Dread or Paris or Paris Prime, if that shot happens to proc an AoE status like Gas or Electricity ALL the enemies it hits are instantly alerted to your exact position, which is again wrong. They should be alerted to your presence, but not your exact position. Heck, Fusion Moa's can lock on and laser beam you as you move even while invisible. Which obviously shouldn't happen.

This is definitely some kind of bug, possibly resulting from AI improvements, but there's no way for us to know. It does need to be looked into and/or clarified by someone from DE.

Just tested now with my Loki and Paris Prime on infested. Firing shots don't catch their attention but if you hit them they start going to your location while cloaked. Pretty ridiculous because they still know your location even with silent weapons if you hit them. I really hope these are just bugs and will be fixed soon.
