Ban Offenses?

Question

What are the ways to get banned? Like a list that will show what will get a person banned from Warframe. (eg; changing the files for an unfair advantage).

I'm looking to change the resolution by looking in the files and editing the resolution so it fits my monitor but it's still widescreen. I have it set to 1280x720 and I'm looking to set it to 1240x720 but I don't want to get banned for changing the files.

You can do this in an easier way by changing the settings in-game.... You wouldn't get banned for that specific thing anyways if you did try to change it that way.

I've looked through the settings. There's no option for the specific resolution I want. Sucks that games don't have custom resolutions.

What sort of crazy monitor are you using that has 1240x720?

That's a resolution/aspect ratio that I've never heard of. It's not 4:3, 16:9 or 16:10.

Also as far as I'm aware there is no way to force the game to run in custom resolutions. And modifying game files (especially the game cache) is incredibly risky. Don't do it.

Your best bet is to send a Support Ticket.

This kinda off topic, but did you tryed "borderless" in settings?

Yeah I agree, support should be helpful. What kind of monitor is that anyways? Toshiba or what? Extremely strange resolution for a monitor. My old dell monitor used to have a detect resolution button for games...not sure if yours would have that though. All I can think is support. Do not mess with the files, that just spells trouble my friend.

The monitor's resolution is 1280x1024, I got used to having the resolution as it is right now. It's really weird when it's not widescreen. :/

Just run it at 1280x720 in 16:9 mode. You really shouldn't notice the 40 additional pixels, especially if you're running in wide screen mode on a 4:3 monitor.

A little part of it is on my other monitor and that really, really bugs the S#&$ out of me
