Dot/status Chance Weapon Issues.

so.... pre damage 2.0 the acrid could melt bosses in seconds; provided you had enough multishot and high fire rate, but now alot of enemies seem completely immune to the DoT that this gun and Torid, or any DoT weapon dishes out as its' supposed main source of damage.

 

how come the DoT weapons have low status chance when the DoTs were supposed to be their main *oomph* in terms of damage? shouldn't they you know.... have a high base status chance like 50%? (because DoTs are meant to proc with DoT weapons, i can understand low status chance on some weapons  because of their high damage per shot base but the acrid and torid suffered heavily thanks to damage 2.0)

TL:DR: increase status chance heavily on any DoT weapon so their DoTs can actually proc.

They did proc. In fact, it's 100% chance they would proc Toxin, regardless of what mods were plugged in (except Embolist).

 

Or you meant the DoT would procs another proc? That's not how it works; DoT cannot procs further.

i've shot phorid with a good 50 acrid booger darts and didn't see a single lesser damage DoT proc, even with poison+electric damage elements in its' loadout, 40% status chance doesn't seem to boost the proc rate by any means.

Then it's prolly a bug. From the first they released, they always proc Toxin separately from status chance calculation. : \

And also, could you get a picture of it? It might come in handy as a proof of bug.
