Prime Warframes Getting A Retroactive Boost?

Now when I heard that Loki Prime was going to get a boost to his energy pool, I was really happy to see him get a boost beyond standard Loki. Whilst I do like having an extra polarity slot, that's nothing a forma can't fix, and besides looking cooler, the reward for getting them is slim beyond 'street cred'.

 

So I was wondering if more of the older frames could get a similar sort of boost?

 

I can understand not wanting to add on extra polarity slots, because people can easily change them. Even if it were small things like giving Ember Prime some more armor (I see you've brought an Ember with you to this high level area, I can only assume you're mad), making Frost Prime faster (mines a tortoise).

 

Is this idea craziness?

I heard that they intend to buff up the older frames, like they did for rhino being faster and loki having more energy, seems they'll do that to the older frames as well.

 

And i agree on the tortoise part XD, after playing with Loki and rhino with vanguard helm and rush mod, dam so slow XD

 

tho i think a good boost for frost would be armor, since snow globe gets bonus hp depending on your armor.

A lot of people don't find this idea to be crazy, so don't worry about that. Unfortunately though, DE has posted in some threads in response to this topic that there are "no current plans", or something along those lines, to go back and look at previous primes.

So while they may do something for them in the future, I'm pretty sure it won't be anytime Soon^TM.

If you use immortal skinns and standard helmets, most primes look simular to the originals.

I'm not a founder but IMO Excalibro Prime should receive the same treatment.. ATM he only has a SMUDGE of gold, 2 formas and a okay Big Daddy Stalker helm... If I had an option of being a founder, I probably won't fork over 200 bucks for a character that I can make by using formas (formae?) On the other hand, good job DE Ltd  with Loki prime!

Your right he does need more gold on him to look like a prime but I believe it was actually only 50 dollars for Excalibur prime, 100 dollars to get the Skana and be on the design and I have no idea what came with the 150 dollar pack and the 200 dollars was for the Lato prime. Not completely sure though I just remember paying the 100 bucks to be on the design council I didn't even like Excalibur.

I do feel we need retroactive boost because I don't think it take long to adjust stats.

Honestly, I see no reason why Prime frames shouldn't have stat increases over the normal versions. If prime weapons are direct upgrades of their normal counterparts, why not? At this point primes are normal frames with cosmetic changes and forma and nothing more. Almost seems pointless to me.
