Ace_Kayo Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 (edited) This bug has been going on far too long and many hot fixes failed to help it. I'm not sure if it is because I'm using a max ranged stomp or what. Even reviving doesn't help for long... usually can just stomp once then it is bugged again. EDIT: Please see Support Ticket Number 297252 for my EE.log file (had the bug lock up the power all mission long, so hopefully it will show good data on it) Edited February 6, 2015 by Ace_Kayo
Zachles Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 (edited) How long is far too long? I've been using Rhino Prime quite a bit since I got him earlier this month, and I have never experienced it. Edited June 24, 2014 by Zachles
Ace_Kayo Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 How long is far too long? I've been using Rhino Prime quite a bit since I got him earlier this month, and I have never experienced it. Many many months. Usually likes to happen on long void survivals, though that is not always the case.
Cazador-Themaster Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 check if none is on the air while u cast it
Ace_Kayo Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 check if none is on the air while u cast it Never seems to let me use stomp quicker than it is supposed to if that is what you mean. If you mean enemies that aren't on the floor in the first place when I cast it (like coming down from a jump) that doesn't seem to be issue. My best guess is that I'm hitting "unspawned" enemies with it (max ranged stomp of course), since if I am -really- lucky, later on when I kill more mobs, I can get the power use back. Just a big guess though.
Ace_Kayo Posted July 14, 2014 Author Posted July 14, 2014 Been reproducing this bug. With max ranged rhino stomp, you can hit enemies that haven't appeared in yet or are out of range for the game to really take notice of (maybe enemies that are far out of range that the game doesn't bother rendering or something). Did plenty of solo survival runs that I finally saw an enemy after running to a different room (than I was stomping in a lot) and it was still in hanging in air from the last stomp I did a some time ago (and would have been done with freezing the enemy in the air). That supports what I was guessing about before. Hopefully with this information DE can finally squash this old bug.
WizardRubic Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I've also seen this occur. Hoping we can get this fixed.
Ace_Kayo Posted October 3, 2014 Author Posted October 3, 2014 Still been reproducing this bug a ton, sometimes a few times a day. Using a max ranged stomp and running away from enemies seems to trigger it the most (still happens to me the most in Void missions). Still leaning highly on my educated guess that the game thinks it is still in use if enemies are so far away they get un-rendered (or at least stuck in stasis forever far away) for stomp. Running around back to where I used it last seems to fix it for the most part, as the enemy stuck in stasis will fall back out of it.
Ace_Kayo Posted December 14, 2014 Author Posted December 14, 2014 (edited) Still getting this bug... sometimes multiple times a day... its pretty sad that one of most used frames is stripped of its 4th power like that, and usually when I need it the most. Edited December 14, 2014 by Ace_Kayo
Ace_Kayo Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 The bug is still around. Please see Support Ticket Number 297252 for my EE.log file (had the bug lock up the power all mission long, so hopefully it will show good data on it)
Ace_Kayo Posted February 8, 2015 Author Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) Clearing out the Local App Data for Warframe (and running the game on all default settings) doesn't help this either. (Just stated for archival reasons [troubleshooting idea from support]) Edited February 8, 2015 by Ace_Kayo
